Because this price comparison is specific to India, it should not be used to infer the difference in another country. The official product pages are regional as well: the Samsung specification cited here is from Samsung UK, while vivo warns that availability and specifications may vary by country.

Choose the Samsung if telephoto shots, wireless charging, or stated support matter most
- Its listed 8 MP telephoto camera offers up to 3× optical zoom, a distinct lens role that the vivo comparison listing does not show.
- It supports up to 15 W wireless charging, alongside wired charging up to 45 W.
- Samsung UK states up to seven OS upgrades and up to seven years of security updates. Treat that as Samsung’s stated commitment for this product, not a promise that applies to vivo.
Choose the vivo if battery capacity, wired charging, or screen size lead
- Its listed battery capacity is 7,000 mAh, compared with 4,900 mAh for Samsung; capacity alone does not establish real-world battery life.
- Its maximum listed wired charging rate is 90 W. A maximum specification does not establish charging time, and reaching it depends on compatible charging equipment.
- The 6.83-inch, 2800 × 1260 screen is larger and has a higher listed pixel resolution than Samsung’s 6.7-inch, 1080 × 2340 screen. Those numbers alone do not determine which display looks better.

Do not pick a processor based on its name alone
Samsung lists the Exynos 2400 and vivo lists the MediaTek Dimensity 7360-Turbo. Those names identify different processors but do not, on their own, establish which phone is faster in everyday use, gaming, or sustained workloads.

- Confirm the local price and storage. Match the storage configuration and seller when comparing offers; the displayed India prices may not refer to equivalent listings.
- Check regional model details. Network bands, features, and availability can vary by market. Verify the exact model and 5G band compatibility for your carrier rather than assuming the regional listings are identical.
- Match charging accessories to the phone. The advertised maximums are up to 45 W wired and 15 W wireless for Samsung, and 90 W wired for vivo. A generic charger should not be assumed to reach those maximums; confirm compatibility.
- Treat water resistance as a test rating, not a guarantee. Samsung describes its IP68 test conditions; vivo says its IP68/IP69 rating was tested under controlled laboratory conditions and warns resistance can diminish with use. vivo also says liquid-ingress damage is not covered by warranty. Neither rating means waterproof, and you should not test the phones at home.
