Does the Galaxy S25 FE have eSIM?
Yes. Samsung’s product information and user guide list eSIM support for the Galaxy S25 FE. An eSIM is a programmable SIM profile stored in the phone rather than a removable plastic card, so you can activate a compatible mobile plan without inserting a physical SIM.

Having the eSIM hardware and software in the phone does not guarantee that every carrier can activate it. Samsung makes activation conditional on the carrier and market. A model sold in one country may therefore have a different activation experience from an apparently identical model sold elsewhere.

- Confirm with the carrier that it supports eSIM activation for the exact Galaxy S25 FE model and your account type.
- Check whether the carrier requires a QR code, an app, an account transfer or an in-store activation.
- Ask whether the plan supports 5G and the bands used in your area; the phone’s 5G capability alone does not determine local service.
How to activate an eSIM
- Contact the carrier and request an eSIM for the Galaxy S25 FE. Keep the activation details supplied by the carrier available.
- Open the phone’s SIM or mobile-network settings and choose the option to add or download an eSIM. Samsung’s exact menu wording can vary with software version and region.

The most likely explanations are a regional model variation, carrier policy, an account that is not eSIM-eligible or an activation code intended for another device. Give the carrier the phone’s exact model and software details so it can check compatibility.
How fast does the Galaxy S25 FE charge?
The phone supports up to 45W wired charging. Samsung’s Galaxy S25 FE specification wording says it can reach up to 65% charge in around 30 minutes with a 45W adapter. That is a maximum claim, not a promise that every charge will reach exactly 65% in exactly 30 minutes.
What you need for the advertised wired speed
The 45W adapter is sold separately. To target Samsung’s stated result, use a compatible 45W USB-C power adapter and a suitable cable. A lower-rated adapter can still charge the phone, but it cannot provide the phone’s advertised 45W maximum.

- Check the wattage printed on the adapter rather than assuming that any USB-C charger is 45W.
- Use a cable in good condition and fully seat both connectors.
- Expect the percentage gained per minute to change as the battery fills; the highest input is normally relevant to part of the charge, not the entire cycle.
- Heat, active use and the charger’s own capabilities can make a real session slower than the headline specification.
Does a 45W charger work with the S25 FE?
Yes. A compatible 45W adapter is the accessory Samsung specifies for the up-to-65%-in-around-30-minutes claim. Because Samsung lists the adapter as sold separately, check the box contents in your market before buying an additional charger.

How fast is wireless charging?
Wireless charging is supported at up to 15W. The 15W figure is the phone’s maximum wireless input, so a higher-rated charging pad will not turn the S25 FE into a faster-than-15W wireless device. Pad compatibility, alignment, temperature and simultaneous use can affect the result.
When wired charging is the better choice
- Choose wired charging when you need the fastest documented top-up.
- Use wireless charging for convenience at a desk or bedside, where a slower, cable-free connection is more useful than peak speed.
- If the phone or pad becomes warm, remove obstructions and allow both devices to cool before continuing.
How long will the Galaxy S25 FE receive Android and security updates?
Samsung promises up to seven generations of OS upgrades and up to seven years of security updates for the Galaxy S25 FE. The two promises are different: OS upgrades refer to major Android-generation updates, while security support covers security fixes and related maintenance.
What the seven-generation promise does—and does not—tell you
The wording is an upper limit, not a guarantee that every country receives each release on the same day. Samsung states that update timing can vary by model, country and service provider. Carrier testing, regional certification and staged rollout practices can therefore make one owner’s update appear before another owner’s.

How to interpret an update delay
- Check the phone’s software-update screen for a manual check when you are connected to a reliable network.
- Compare the model number and carrier variant before treating another country’s release date as your own schedule.
- Distinguish the Android version date from the security-patch date; they can be different, as the Android 16 record shows.
- If an update is offered, keep sufficient battery and storage available and avoid interrupting the installation.
Is the Galaxy S25 FE waterproof?
No phone should be described as completely waterproof. The Galaxy S25 FE is rated IP68, which means Samsung’s stated laboratory condition is submersion in up to 1.5 metres of freshwater for up to 30 minutes.
What IP68 covers
The rating is useful for accidental exposure such as a brief drop in clean freshwater, provided the device is in the condition assumed by the test. It is not a depth or time recommendation for routine swimming, photography underwater or deliberate immersion.
What Samsung advises you to avoid
- Do not use the phone at the beach or in a swimming pool. Saltwater, chlorinated water and other contaminants are outside the freshwater condition Samsung specifies.
- Do not interpret IP68 as protection against high-pressure jets, hot water, steam or every liquid the phone may encounter.
- Do not charge the phone while its port or connectors are wet.
- Keep in mind that Samsung warns water resistance can diminish through normal wear. Drops, impacts, repairs, ageing seals and repeated exposure can all make the original test condition less representative.
What to do after accidental freshwater contact
- Remove the phone from the water and wipe the exterior with a soft, dry cloth.
- Keep liquid away from the charging port and do not connect a cable until the port is dry.
- Remove cases or accessories that can trap moisture and let the phone air-dry.
- If the phone behaves abnormally after drying, stop using it and seek service rather than repeatedly powering it on or applying heat.
Does the S25 FE support 5G, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4?
Samsung lists 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Wi-Fi Direct and Bluetooth 5.4. These are the phone’s listed connectivity technologies, but the practical result depends on the regional model, carrier support, local spectrum, router capability and network conditions.
Why band and market checks matter
A phone can support 5G in principle while lacking a band used by a particular operator or country. Before importing a handset or changing carriers, verify the exact regional model and the operator’s supported bands. The same check applies to Wi-Fi 6E: the phone can use that standard only where a compatible router and permitted 6 GHz service are available.

“My carrier cannot activate eSIM.”
Ask the carrier to verify eSIM support for the exact S25 FE variant and your plan. If the market or account is unsupported, the phone’s built-in eSIM capability cannot override that policy.

“Charging is slower than the specification.”
Confirm that the adapter is a compatible 45W model, inspect the cable and check for heat or heavy use. Samsung’s 65%-in-around-30-minutes statement is a maximum-oriented specification, so it should not be treated as a fixed result for every session.

“The update has not arrived yet.”
Check the model and service-provider variant. Samsung says timing varies by model, country and service provider, so another region’s release date is not proof that your device is overdue.
“The phone got wet.”
Treat IP68 as limited protection, not waterproofing. Dry the exterior, keep liquid out of the port, avoid charging while wet and remember that resistance may have declined through wear.
“Wireless PowerShare will not start.”
Raise the S25 FE above 30% battery, remove interfering cases or accessories, align the devices and confirm that the receiving device is compatible.
