The Galaxy S25 Edge is the thinner, larger-screen option; the Galaxy S26 is smaller and adds a dedicated 3x telephoto camera and a higher stated battery capacity. The S25 Edge’s 200MP main camera and slim body may appeal if those are your priorities, while the S26’s camera coverage and battery capacity may suit different needs. Neither phone’s published specifications alone establish better photo quality or longer battery life. A reliable current price difference also depends on matching country and storage, so the S25 Edge launch prices below should not be mistaken for current offers.

Which phone is thinner, lighter, and easier to carry?
The S25 Edge is 5.8 mm thick and weighs 163 g; the S26 is 7.2 mm thick and weighs 167 g. That makes the Edge 1.4 mm thinner and 4 g lighter on Samsung’s published figures, but it is also taller and wider: 158.2 × 75.6 mm versus 149.6 × 71.7 mm. It is therefore the clear choice if minimizing thickness is the priority, not necessarily if you want the smallest footprint.
Dimensions are manufacturer-published measurements and can vary by market. The measurements do not indicate how either phone feels in hand, and no hands-on comparison is established here.

Which display is larger and sharper?
The S25 Edge has a 6.7-inch QHD+ display with a stated 3120 × 1440 resolution. Samsung lists the S26 at 6.3 inches across the full rectangle; its UK page gives 6.1 inches when accounting for rounded corners. The Edge is substantially larger and higher-resolution on these specifications, making it the more direct fit for someone who values screen area and pixel resolution. The S26 is the more compact option.
Screen-size figures depend on whether the measurement includes rounded corners; the visible area is smaller than a full-rectangle measurement. See Samsung’s S25 Edge specifications and S26 product page for the regional figures.

These configurations describe lens coverage and resolution, not comparative image quality. Megapixel counts alone do not show which phone takes better photos, and no exact-pair camera test is established by the cited specifications. See Samsung’s S25 Edge camera specifications and S26 series announcement.
Which has the bigger battery, and does that mean longer battery life?
Samsung lists a typical battery capacity of 3,900mAh for the S25 Edge and 4,300mAh for the S26—a 400mAh capacity difference in the S26’s favor. Capacity is not a battery-life test, however; these figures do not establish which phone lasts longer in real use. The cited sources provide no exact-pair endurance comparison.

What is the price difference?
Samsung’s U.S. launch announcement listed the S25 Edge at $1,099.99 for 256GB and $1,219.99 for 512GB. Preorders opened May 12, 2025, and general availability began May 30, 2025.
