These are manufacturer-published specifications and claims, not results from matched tests. The processor figures do not establish which phone is faster, and megapixel counts alone do not establish camera quality.

Display and S Pen: Samsung’s clearest productivity distinction
Samsung lists a 17.25cm display with 3120×1440 resolution, compared with vivo’s 6.67-inch, 2800×1260 panel. Both list a maximum 120Hz refresh rate. On published dimensions and resolution, the S24 Ultra has the larger, higher-resolution screen; those figures alone do not determine overall display quality.
The S24 Ultra also has an integrated S Pen. That is useful if you regularly handwrite notes, annotate documents or use a pen for navigation. vivo’s cited X200T specifications do not list a built-in stylus, so buyers who need one should treat the S Pen as a meaningful hardware difference.
#1 Best Overall
- 6.8″ Dynamic AMOLED 2X QHD+ display with a 1–120 Hz adaptive refresh rate and up to ~2600 nits peak brightness — delivering a bright, sharp screen with smooth scrolling and great outdoor visibility.
Camera systems: two Samsung telephotos versus vivo’s 50MP trio
Samsung lists four rear cameras: a 200MP wide camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and separate 10MP 3x and 50MP 5x optical telephoto cameras. vivo lists three 50MP rear cameras, including an ultra-wide and a periscope telephoto; vivo gives that telephoto a 70mm-equivalent focal length.
The layouts suggest different hardware approaches: Samsung specifies two dedicated telephoto modules, while vivo uses three 50MP rear cameras. They do not prove which phone takes better photos, produces better zoom images or performs better in low light. Those outcomes depend on factors including sensor and lens design, stabilization, image processing and shooting conditions, and no matched camera test is established here. The front cameras are listed at 12MP for Samsung and 32MP for vivo; resolution by itself is not a selfie-quality verdict.

Battery and charging: vivo lists the larger capacity and higher charging power
vivo specifies a 6200mAh typical battery (6060mAh rated), up to 90W wired FlashCharge and up to 40W wireless FlashCharge. Samsung specifies a 5000mAh typical battery and claims up to 30 hours of video playback under its stated product-test conditions. These figures are not a head-to-head endurance test: battery life and charging time vary with usage, settings, charger and test conditions.

If capacity and listed peak charging power are priorities, the X200T has the specification advantage. Do not treat that as proof it will last longer in a particular person’s daily use.

Software support: Samsung gives a specific update commitment
Samsung announced that the Galaxy S24 series would receive seven generations of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates. Samsung Newsroom India described this commitment in its 18 January 2024 announcement.
vivo’s X200T parameter page lists Android 16 with OriginOS 6. vivo launch material uses the phrase “5-Year Smooth Experience,” but that wording does not specify a matching number of OS upgrades or security-update years. It should not be read as an equivalent update schedule.

India price difference: the available figures are not like for like
The vivo India shop listing displayed ₹59,999 for the X200T with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage when checked for this comparison. It also presents a 12GB+512GB option. This is a dated shop observation, not a guaranteed current price.

A comparable current Samsung India transaction price for an equivalent storage configuration was not established, so calculating a current rupee gap would be misleading. The S24 Ultra’s price can vary with storage, seller and offers. For a fair comparison, check both phones on the same date, in India, with matching storage and comparable seller and offer terms; do not compare vivo’s current shop listing with Samsung’s original launch price or an undated third-party listing.

Which phone should you choose?
- Choose the Galaxy S24 Ultra if an integrated S Pen, a larger and higher-resolution listed screen, two dedicated telephoto cameras, or Samsung’s stated seven-generation OS and seven-year security commitment best fit your needs.
- Consider the vivo X200T if its listed 6200mAh typical battery, 90W wired and 40W wireless charging, or three-camera 50MP rear setup better matches your priorities.
- Compare before buying if camera results, actual battery endurance, speed or price are decisive. The published specifications do not settle those outcomes, and current prices must be checked for the same storage and buying conditions.
Neither set of specifications proves an overall winner. The better fit depends on which documented features matter to you and on current like-for-like pricing.
