The sources do not establish that these are the same device. A cited India page shows a ₹4,000 price gap, but that figure is a dated listing—not a live or universal price.
First, check which POCO phone the listing means
The official POCO global and Xiaomi Malaysia pages cover the POCO X8. They specify a Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 processor and an 8,340mAh typical battery. By contrast, Gadgets Now’s India comparison page labels its phone POCO X8 Power 5G and lists a Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 processor and a 10,000mAh battery. Those differences are substantial, and the available information does not show that the two names refer to one model.

For that reason, the table separates Samsung’s official specifications from the two conflicting POCO references. It would be misleading to combine the official POCO X8 display or charging data with the comparison page’s X8 Power 5G name and price as if they were confirmed specifications for the same phone.

Price difference: what the India listing says
Gadgets Now’s comparison page, updated September 16, 2026, displays ₹39,999 for the Galaxy S24 FE and ₹35,999 for the phone it calls POCO X8 Power 5G—a displayed difference of ₹4,000. This is a third-party India price snapshot, not a verified live offer; it should not be generalized to another date, country, seller or storage configuration.
Before treating that gap as a buying decision, check the current prices for the exact POCO model and equivalent storage variants. Confirm the seller and whether the listed prices are currently available. The identity conflict means the page’s POCO price cannot safely be attached to the official POCO X8 specifications.

Which phone may suit you better?
Choose the Galaxy S24 FE if camera reach and long-term support matter
Samsung’s specified 8MP telephoto camera provides 3x optical zoom, giving the S24 FE a documented rear-camera option beyond its main and ultra-wide cameras. Samsung also states seven generations of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates from the phone’s global launch. Those are useful points of comparison if you keep a phone for years, but they do not settle value without a current local price.
Consider the official POCO X8 if battery capacity and wired charging lead your priorities
The official POCO X8 specifications give it an 8,340mAh typical battery and 67W charging, compared with the S24 FE’s 4,700mAh battery and 25W wired charging. This is a comparison between the official POCO X8 and Samsung S24 FE—not a verified claim about the separately named X8 Power 5G. Confirm the precise model, regional availability and network bands before applying these figures to a phone listing.

How to make a fair final comparison
- Verify the model. Check the exact product name and model identifier on the seller’s listing and the manufacturer’s regional product page. Do not assume “POCO X8” and “POCO X8 Power 5G” are interchangeable.
- Compare like with like. Match storage capacity, seller, warranty and current local price before calculating a price difference.
- Prioritize the features you will use. Compare display, camera layout—especially the presence of a genuine telephoto camera—battery capacity and wired charging.
- Check ownership details. Review software and security support, regional network bands, and availability for the exact variant in your country.
With the evidence available, Samsung’s S24 FE specifications are defined more clearly, while the POCO name in the question remains unresolved. The price snapshot alone cannot establish which phone is the better buy.
