The price difference is harder to state. Samsung’s number is a 2024 US launch price. OnePlus’s number is an India launch bracket from 2026. The two can’t be subtracted, and this article explains how to get a fair figure for your own country.

This is the widest gap on the spec sheets. OnePlus lists 9,000mAh and 80W charging for the Nord 6. Samsung lists a 4,700mAh typical battery for the S24 FE, with wired charging up to 25W. Samsung notes the charger is sold separately.

Capacity roughly doubles, so the Nord 6 should last much longer between charges. Real runtime also depends on the chip, screen and software, and no independent same-condition battery test was available. OnePlus’s own page cites its Test Lab results and warns that real-world results vary, so treat those as brand claims.
The S24 FE has one charging advantage: wireless charging and Wireless PowerShare. The Nord 6 page as retrieved doesn’t establish either feature.
Rank #2
- The Galaxy S24 FE packs a large 6.7‑inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with adaptive 120 Hz refresh rate, enhanced brightness and a “Vision Booster” mode — ideal for clear, bright visuals even outdoors.
Display
The Nord 6 advertises a 1.5K AMOLED panel at 165Hz. The S24 FE uses an FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel with an adaptive refresh rate up to 120Hz. On paper, OnePlus leads on resolution and maximum refresh rate. A higher number isn’t proof of a better screen. Brightness, colour accuracy and how the phone behaves at high refresh rates need independent measurement, and none is cited here.
Cameras
Samsung documents a three-camera rear system: 50MP wide, 12MP ultrawide, and an 8MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom. OnePlus advertises a 50MP main camera with OIS and a 32MP front camera. The page excerpt doesn’t establish a telephoto camera, so if optical zoom matters to you, the S24 FE is the safer pick. Confirm the Nord 6’s full camera list before assuming either way.
Rank #3
- Immersive 6.7" Dynamic AMOLED display with smooth 120Hz refresh rate for daily use and entertainment
- 50MP camera system delivers crisp photos and vibrant videos with intelligent image processing
- Galaxy AI features optimize performance, battery usage, and photo quality
- Includes fast wired and wireless charging accessories for flexible and convenient charging options
- International Model – Global Connectivity – Plug & Play with an active SIM on AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and most U.S. carriers. New activations are also supported on T-Mobile, AT&T, and Verizon in the U.S., but some carriers may not recognize International IMEIs as compatible. No U.S. manufacturer warranty; seller return policy applies
The 32MP versus 10MP front camera is a resolution difference only. Megapixels don’t decide selfie quality, and no comparative camera testing was available.
Processor
The S24 FE uses Samsung’s Exynos 2400e. The Nord 6 uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4. Both are upper-tier chips, but there is no matched benchmark to name a winner. Manufacturer claims use different baselines, so they shouldn’t be compared directly.
Rank #4
- The Galaxy S24 FE packs a large 6.7‑inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with adaptive 120 Hz refresh rate, enhanced brightness and a “Vision Booster” mode — ideal for clear, bright visuals even outdoors.
Software updates
Samsung announced seven generations of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates for the S24 FE. OnePlus states four Android OS updates and six years of security updates for the Nord 6. Samsung’s promise is longer on both counts. These are commitments from the manufacturers, and terms can differ by region, so check the policy for your market.
Update timing also matters. The S24 FE launched in 2024 and the Nord 6 in 2026, so the S24 FE’s support window started earlier. Count the remaining years from today, not from the headline figure.
Best Value
Durability
OnePlus advertises IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings for the Nord 6. It says this applies to normal conditions and fresh water, and that protection can diminish over time. The sources used here don’t state Samsung’s rating for the S24 FE, so check Samsung’s regional spec page before comparing.
Price difference: what you can and can’t say
Samsung’s September 26, 2024 announcement put the S24 FE’s US starting price at $649.99. OnePlus’s India page describes the Nord 6 as launched on April 7, 2026 in the ₹35,000–₹40,000 price segment. The OnePlus note says that is “factual at time of launch in India.” It doesn’t give a current checkout price.
These figures differ in country, currency, date, tax treatment and probably storage configuration. S24 FE prices have also likely moved since 2024, and none of the sources shows the current street price. To get a real difference:
- Pick your country and the same storage and RAM configuration for both phones.
- Check current prices at official stores and major retailers, including any bank or exchange offers you would actually use.
- Add the cost of a charger if you need one. Samsung’s 25W charging claim assumes a separately bought adapter.
- Subtract the final prices only if they are in the same currency and from the same period.
Also check local availability. These sources don’t establish that either phone is sold in every country, or which carrier bands each regional version supports.
Which one fits which buyer
Choose the OnePlus Nord 6 if
- Battery life and fast charging come first (9,000mAh and 80W against 4,700mAh and 25W).
- You want the higher refresh rate (165Hz) and a 1.5K panel.
- You want a Snapdragon chip and a high advertised dust and water rating.
Choose the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE if
- You want a dedicated 3x optical telephoto camera.
- You use wireless charging or Wireless PowerShare.
- You plan to keep the phone for a long time and value the seven-year update promise.
Neither phone wins outright from the published figures. Settle the choice with current local prices, the exact version sold in your country, and independent reviews for the areas you care about most.
