The phones also carry different ingress-protection ratings: Samsung lists IP68 and Nothing lists IP64. These ratings describe tested resistance under specified conditions; neither guarantees protection from every liquid, dust exposure or accidental damage.
Which phone is faster?
Samsung lists the Exynos 2400e, and Nothing lists the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3. Chipset names alone do not establish which phone is faster in everyday use, gaming or sustained workloads. A fair performance verdict would require comparable benchmarks or controlled testing of the phones, with the test conditions and software versions stated. The available specifications do not supply that basis, so neither should be declared the performance winner from this comparison alone.
Rank #2
- The Galaxy S24 FE packs a large 6.7‑inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with adaptive 120 Hz refresh rate, enhanced brightness and a “Vision Booster” mode — ideal for clear, bright visuals even outdoors.
How do the cameras differ?
The most notable hardware distinction is the telephoto setup. Nothing lists a 50 MP periscope camera with 3x optical zoom; Samsung lists an 8 MP telephoto camera. For someone who often frames distant subjects, Nothing’s stated periscope and optical-zoom specification is a concrete advantage to consider.
The rest of the listed camera hardware is also different:
Rank #3
- Immersive 6.7" Dynamic AMOLED display with smooth 120Hz refresh rate for daily use and entertainment
- 50MP camera system delivers crisp photos and vibrant videos with intelligent image processing
- Galaxy AI features optimize performance, battery usage, and photo quality
- Includes fast wired and wireless charging accessories for flexible and convenient charging options
- International Model – Global Connectivity – Plug & Play with an active SIM on AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and most U.S. carriers. New activations are also supported on T-Mobile, AT&T, and Verizon in the U.S., but some carriers may not recognize International IMEIs as compatible. No U.S. manufacturer warranty; seller return policy applies
- Galaxy S24 FE: 50 MP wide, 12 MP ultra-wide, 8 MP telephoto and 10 MP front camera.
- Phone (3a) Pro: 50 MP OIS main, 50 MP periscope telephoto with 3x optical zoom, 8 MP ultra-wide and 50 MP front camera.
Resolution figures do not prove that one phone produces better photos. Image processing, lens performance and shooting conditions affect results, and the manufacturer specification pages do not establish an image-quality winner. Look at sample photos from the kinds of scenes you shoot before treating camera quality as the deciding factor.
Which has the better battery and charging?
Nothing lists a 5,000 mAh battery and 50W fast charging; Samsung lists a 4,700 mAh battery. Those figures give Nothing the larger stated capacity and the clearer, higher stated wired-charging rate in this comparison. They do not establish which phone lasts longer in real use: screen settings, network conditions, software and workload all affect battery life. The cited Samsung specification should be checked for its specific wired and wireless charging details before making a complete charging comparison.
Rank #4
- The Galaxy S24 FE packs a large 6.7‑inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with adaptive 120 Hz refresh rate, enhanced brightness and a “Vision Booster” mode — ideal for clear, bright visuals even outdoors.
How long will each phone receive software updates?
Samsung’s India product page states up to seven generations of Android OS upgrades and seven years of security updates for the S24 FE. Nothing’s international Phone (3a) series page describes updates for six years from first availability, but does not give the same OS-upgrade and security-update breakdown in that wording. These are not perfectly parallel promises, and the Nothing India page does not state an equivalent breakdown. Confirm the current policy for the exact sales region before comparing end dates or treating one figure as a direct measure of support.
