The Samsung Galaxy S24 5G is the better fit if you want a compact, light phone; the vivo V70 Elite offers a larger display, a higher stated battery capacity, 90 W charging and a dedicated 3× optical telephoto camera. Those are specification differences, not proof that one phone takes better photos or lasts longer in real-world use. There is no reliable like-for-like price difference to quote without checking the same storage variant and seller at the time you buy.

Which phone is easier to carry?
The Galaxy S24 is substantially shorter and narrower on the published dimensions, and it weighs less than either listed V70 Elite finish. Choose it if one-handed handling, a smaller pocket footprint or lower weight matters more than screen size.

Camera differences: zoom hardware versus megapixel counts
The most distinctive hardware difference is the V70 Elite’s dedicated 50 MP telephoto camera with 3× optical zoom and OIS. That gives it a specified optical-zoom lens rather than relying only on the main camera’s field of view. vivo describes this as a ZEISS Night Telephoto Camera; that is the manufacturer’s positioning, not an independent assessment of image quality.
The Galaxy S24 has a three-camera rear system listed at 50 MP, 10 MP and 12 MP. The available specifications do not provide a controlled comparison of photo quality, low-light performance, stabilization or video between these phones. Do not treat the higher telephoto megapixel count as proof that the V70 Elite takes better pictures overall.
