If you want to plug wired headphones straight into a Samsung phone, Samsung’s regional specifications confirm a dedicated 3.5 mm jack on the Galaxy A25 5G and Galaxy A15 5G. Those are verified examples, not a complete global list: check the exact model and local listing before you buy.

They do not establish that either model is currently in stock, sold in every country, or available in every configuration. Why the exact model matters
A Galaxy series name is not enough to determine whether a phone has a headphone jack. Samsung’s US comparison page lists “Earjack: USB Type-C” for the Galaxy A17 5G, A27 5G, A37 5G and A57 5G. That information applies to the models covered on that page; check the specification for any other model or regional variant rather than assuming the whole series shares the same connector. - For direct wired connection: Look for “3.5mm Audio Jack,” “3.5mm Stereo,” or equivalent wording in the specification for the exact phone variant.
- For a USB-C-only phone: Plan to use a compatible adapter if you want to keep using 3.5 mm headphones.
- For a used or refurbished phone: Confirm the precise model and listing condition; a family name or product photo alone does not verify the connector.
Using 3.5 mm headphones with a USB-C-only Galaxy
A USB-C-to-3.5-mm adapter can provide a wired-headphone connection on a phone without a built-in jack, but it is an accessory connection—not an integrated 3.5 mm socket. Samsung UK says the converter should include a built-in digital-to-analogue converter (DAC) and advises checking DAC compatibility when choosing a third-party adapter. What to verify before buying
- Identify the market and model number. A specification page for one country or variant may not describe a phone sold elsewhere.
- Check the connector entry. Look for an explicit 3.5 mm jack specification; “USB Type-C” indicates a different audio connection in the cited comparison.
- Match the seller listing to the specification. Confirm the model number, configuration, condition and local availability with the seller.
- If there is no built-in jack, check the adapter. For a USB-C-to-3.5-mm converter, verify DAC compatibility for the phone.
