Are the M56 and A37 displays, battery and performance different?
Display
The comparison lists a 6.7-inch FHD+ panel for each. It labels the M56 display Super AMOLED Plus and the A37 display 120 Hz Super AMOLED. Those specifications suggest differences in panel designation and listed refresh rate, but the available information does not establish brightness, outdoor legibility, color accuracy or how the two look side by side.

Battery and charging
Both comparison listings show a 5,000 mAh battery and 45 W wired charging. Samsung India specifies 5,000 mAh as the M56’s typical battery capacity. Capacity and charging wattage do not establish battery life or charging time under real use; no matched battery test is available here.

Processor and memory
The comparison lists Exynos 1480 in both phones, so the chipset name alone does not make one a performance winner. Samsung describes the A37 as having an octa-core platform and LPDDR5X memory, with claimed CPU and GPU improvements over its previous model. These are manufacturer statements, not a direct M56-versus-A37 benchmark. Real-world speed, heat and sustained performance would require comparable testing.
Which phone has the better cameras?
The listed rear-camera difference is the macro camera: 2 MP on the M56 and 5 MP on the A37. Both listings show a 50 MP wide camera, an 8 MP ultra-wide camera and a 12 MP front camera. A higher macro-camera megapixel count does not demonstrate better overall image quality. The available specifications do not establish which phone takes better photos or video; that would require comparable camera tests across the same scenes and settings.

How much cheaper is the Galaxy M56?
When accessed in 2026, 91mobiles displayed a ₹33,895 retailer-linked listing for the M56 via Flipkart and ₹40,999 for the A37 via Amazon. These are volatile listings from different sellers, not launch prices, guaranteed checkout totals or a fixed price gap. The page does not establish that the linked listings are the same RAM and storage configuration.

Samsung India’s A37 buy-page search result separately showed an offer price of ₹46,999 against an MRP of ₹60,999 for the displayed configuration. That is a different seller context and configuration may change, so it should not be directly compared with the 91mobiles retailer-linked prices.

Check the price fairly before buying
- Match the RAM and storage capacity, then verify each phone’s full model number and regional variant.
- Compare current seller totals at checkout, including any delivery charges or discounts that apply to you.
- Check warranty coverage, return policy and whether the seller is authorized for the region where you will use the phone.
Which one should you buy?
Choose the M56 if
- The same-specification M56 is still meaningfully less expensive at checkout.
- You value its published 180 g weight and 7.2 mm thickness; Samsung’s cited report provides no corresponding A37 measurement for a direct comfort comparison.
- Its stated six OS upgrades and six years of security updates suit your needs, and you have confirmed the A37’s official support terms for your region before treating support duration as a deciding factor.
Choose the A37 if
- You specifically want the listed 120 Hz display specification.
- The 5 MP macro camera matters to you, while recognizing that the figure does not establish overall camera superiority.
- Its current price, configuration, warranty or seller terms are better for your purchase than the M56’s.
Samsung lists the M56 launch date as April 17, 2025, and its 2026 Q1 Interim Report identifies it as an April 2025 model. The 91mobiles comparison gives a different M56 date, so Samsung’s product-page date is the clearer source for its listed launch date. The comparison page dates the A37 to April 10, 2026; that listing alone does not establish a precise official launch or sale milestone.
