Which phone has the better battery?
The N6x has the larger stated capacity: OnePlus lists 7,000 mAh equivalent, compared with Samsung’s 5,000 mAh typical capacity for the M36. OnePlus says the N6x can provide up to 2.5 days on a charge, based on its Test Lab results; actual use varies. Samsung lists up to 17 hours of video playback and notes that battery life depends on network, usage and other conditions. These claims use different measures and are not a like-for-like independent comparison, so capacity and manufacturer estimates do not establish which phone lasts longer in your routine. OnePlus battery-life claim.
How do the displays differ?
The comparison listing identifies the M36 panel as a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display. OnePlus lists a slightly larger 6.8-inch LCD on the N6x and specifies a 120 Hz refresh rate. This is a preference rather than a simple size contest: weigh the panel type, screen size and refresh rate you value. OnePlus notes that the actual refresh rate depends on the app interface and game settings.

What do the camera specifications tell you?
The comparison listing gives the M36 a 50 MP, 8 MP and 2 MP rear-camera array, while OnePlus specifies a 13 MP main camera for the N6x. These figures describe resolution and camera count, not image quality. They do not show how the phones compare in detail, low light, video or processing, so do not treat the higher megapixel count or extra cameras as proof of better photos.
Which phone is faster?
The listed chipsets are Samsung’s Exynos 1380 for the M36 and MediaTek’s Dimensity 6360 Apex for the N6x. The available specifications do not establish a performance winner: that would require comparable independent testing. Likewise, OnePlus’s references to OxygenOS 16 and variant-specific fluency claims should not be read as a formal software-update commitment. Samsung lists M36 security updates as valid through 31 December 2031.
