The Galaxy F70e 5G trades those advantages for a larger 6,000mAh battery, an IP54 rating and lower launch-era effective prices. Both list 120Hz displays, 25W charging, 5G and six years of announced software support; specifications alone cannot establish which is faster or lasts longer in everyday use.

Which phone has the better display and cameras?
Display: M36 for resolution and panel type
Both phones have 6.7-inch displays with a 120Hz refresh rate, but the M36’s FHD+ Super AMOLED specification is the more substantial display advantage over the F70e’s HD+ PLS LCD. The F70e still offers the same stated refresh rate; that does not make its resolution or panel type equivalent to the M36’s.
Cameras: M36 has OIS and higher stated front-camera resolution
The M36 lists a 50MP OIS triple rear-camera system and a 13MP front camera. The F70e lists a 50MP main camera, a 2MP depth camera and an 8MP front camera, with no OIS listed on Samsung’s product page. That gives the M36 a stronger set of stated camera hardware, but megapixel counts and stabilization specifications cannot prove which phone takes better photos or selfies in practice.

Which has better performance and battery life?
Performance: the chip names do not settle the comparison
The M36 uses Samsung’s Exynos 1380 (5nm) and includes a vapor cooling chamber; the F70e uses the MediaTek Dimensity 6300. These are different chipsets, and the available specifications do not establish their comparative everyday speed, gaming performance or sustained performance. Choose based on a credible test of the exact models if performance is your deciding factor.
Battery: F70e has more rated capacity
The F70e’s rated battery capacity is 6,000mAh, compared with 5,000mAh in the M36. Both list 25W charging. The larger stated capacity may be attractive if battery size is a priority, but it does not guarantee longer real-world battery life: usage and conditions matter, and no comparative battery test is established here.

What about durability, software and support?
Samsung cites Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection for the M36, while the F70e has a stated IP54 rating and leather-finish design. An IP54 rating is not a claim that a phone is waterproof, and the cited M36 materials do not establish an IP rating for that model. Neither phone should be described as waterproof on this evidence.

On those launch offers, the F70e started at a lower effective price, but its listed starting configuration also had less RAM than the M36’s. The offers were tied to different launch dates and conditions, so they do not show which phone is cheaper today. Check current retailer listings for the exact RAM and storage variant, seller, stock and applicable bank or exchange conditions. Samsung named Samsung.com, Amazon and select retail stores as M36 sales channels; for the F70e it named Samsung.com, Flipkart and select retail stores.

Which should you choose?
- Choose the M36 on specifications if FHD+ Super AMOLED resolution, OIS camera hardware or a 13MP front camera is most important to you.
- Consider the F70e if its larger rated battery, IP54 rating, leather-finish back or lower historical launch effective price better fits your priorities.
- Compare current prices by exact configuration before deciding: the launch offers are not current quotes, and the models launched at different times.
