Their India prices also come from different dates, so the available figures do not establish a current price gap.

Which phone is smaller and easier to handle?
The X300 FE is shorter, narrower, thinner and lighter on the published specifications: 191g and 7.99mm thick, versus 222g and 9.1mm for the M35. Its 6.31-inch screen is also smaller than the M35’s 6.6-inch-class panel. That makes the vivo the more compact choice on paper, while the Samsung gives more display area. The M35’s listed resolution is 1080 × 2340; the X300 FE’s is 2640 × 1216, with both displays rated for refresh rates up to 120Hz.
How do their processors and performance tiers compare?
The M35 uses Samsung’s Exynos 1380, identified as a 5nm chip in the launch announcement. vivo lists the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 for the X300 FE, positioning it with higher-tier silicon by the published processor specification. That does not establish a particular speed difference in everyday use: no comparable independent test result is available here. vivo’s launch-page AnTuTu figure of 3,161,598 is a manufacturer marketing figure and not a head-to-head comparison with the M35.

Which phone has the more versatile camera setup?
The clearest hardware distinction is the X300 FE’s dedicated 50MP telephoto camera with OIS. It gives the phone a separate camera for zoom and tighter portrait framing, rather than relying only on the main camera’s field of view. The vivo also lists a 50MP OIS main camera and an 8MP ultrawide.
The M35 lists a 50MP main, 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro rear arrangement, with OIS listed for its rear camera. On the front, vivo lists a 50MP autofocus camera, compared with the M35’s 13MP front camera. These resolution and hardware differences do not by themselves prove which phone takes better photos; that requires comparable camera testing.

Battery capacity and charging: what the ratings tell you
The X300 FE lists a 6500mAh typical battery and 90W wired FlashCharge; vivo says maximum charging power depends on the original charger and cable and is dynamically adjusted. The M35 lists a 6000mAh typical battery and 25W fast-charging support. These capacities and charging ratings are not battery-life results: endurance depends on use and network conditions, and charging performance can vary.

A verified current price difference cannot be calculated from the available figures because they refer to different dates and kinds of price evidence. Samsung’s figures are M35 launch prices from 17 July 2024; vivo’s figures include 2026 launch announcements and a store snapshot. No current Samsung checkout price was confirmed alongside the vivo listing.

- 8GB/128GB: ₹21,499
- 8GB/256GB: ₹24,499
These are historical launch prices, not confirmed current selling prices. Samsung’s announcement names Amazon among its sales channels.

- 8GB/256GB: ₹84,999 in vivo’s 2026 variant announcement; the official store snapshot also displayed ₹84,999.
- 12GB/256GB: ₹79,999 in vivo’s 2026 launch announcement, while the official store snapshot displayed ₹89,999.
- 12GB/512GB: ₹89,999 in vivo’s 2026 launch announcement.
These are dated manufacturer figures, not a single timeless price list; the 12GB/256GB launch-announcement figure and store snapshot differ. Which one fits which buyer?
- Choose the Galaxy M35 if a larger screen is a priority and you are considering a midrange phone. Its published specs include a 6.6-inch-class display and 6000mAh typical battery.
- Consider the vivo X300 FE if you want a smaller, lighter body, a dedicated telephoto camera, higher listed processor tier or faster rated wired charging. Its official specifications also list IP68 and IP69 protection ratings.
- Compare current value only after checking live prices for the exact memory configuration you want. The launch and store figures above cannot answer which is cheaper today.
The vivo product page identifies the ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 as a separately purchased compatible accessory, not an included item; vivo’s newsroom announced ₹15,999 India pricing. Treat that as a dated announcement, not confirmation of current availability or price. vivo launch announcement.
