Display and video: the F70 Pro has the higher listed ceiling
Refresh rate
Both phones have a 6.7-inch-class FHD+ Super AMOLED display. Samsung lists the F70 Pro at up to 120Hz and the M17 at up to 90Hz, making the F70 Pro the higher-refresh-rate option on paper. A refresh-rate specification does not by itself establish how every app or task will look or feel.

Video recording
The F70 Pro lists UHD 4K recording at 30fps; the M17 lists FHD 1080p at 30fps. That is a difference in supported recording resolution, not proof that one phone produces better-looking video in every situation. Both list a 50MP main rear camera with OIS, alongside 5MP and 2MP rear cameras.
Battery, charging and storage
Samsung lists typical battery capacities of 6,000mAh for the F70 Pro and 5,000mAh for the M17. The F70 Pro’s stated capacity is larger, but these manufacturer figures are not results from a comparative runtime test. Samsung advertises up to 28 hours of video playback for the F70 Pro under its stated conditions; that figure should not be read as a guaranteed everyday runtime.

Which phone should you choose?
- Choose the F70 Pro if the higher listed 120Hz refresh rate, 4K video recording or larger stated battery capacity matters most to you—and its exact current price fits your budget.
- Consider the M17 if you want the lower launch-price tier and are satisfied with a 90Hz display and FHD video recording. It still lists AMOLED, OIS and 5G, and Samsung states six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates, with the M17 support plan caveat noted above.
- Compare before buying by checking same-day prices for matching storage tiers. Historical launch figures and a later store starting price do not establish today’s price gap, and no measured head-to-head battery or camera test is available here.
