The Redmi A7 Pro 5G has the larger screen and bigger stated battery; the Samsung Galaxy F70e 5G lists a higher-resolution rear camera array, a higher ingress-protection rating and faster wired charging. Both offer 120Hz HD+ LCDs and 5G. There is no dependable same-day, same-variant price comparison in the available listings, so the better fit depends on your priorities—not a single overall winner.

Which phone has the bigger, sharper display?
The Redmi A7 Pro 5G is larger by listed screen size: Xiaomi gives it a 6.9-inch display, while Samsung describes the F70e as a 6.7-inch-class display. Both are LCD panels with refresh rates up to 120Hz. Samsung specifies 720 × 1600 pixels. Xiaomi labels the Redmi screen HD+ but its official specification text retrieved for this comparison does not give pixel dimensions; 91mobiles lists 900 × 1600. Treat that resolution figure as a secondary listing rather than an official Xiaomi-confirmed specification.

A larger panel can be more comfortable for video and reading, while the stated pixel dimensions help describe sharpness. Neither screen size nor refresh rate alone establishes which display looks better in person.

Samsung lists a 50MP main rear camera and a 2MP secondary sensor; Xiaomi lists a 32MP main rear camera. Both phones have 8MP front cameras. Those are hardware specifications, not evidence that the Galaxy takes better photos: image quality also depends on sensor and lens characteristics, processing, exposure and shooting conditions. No comparable independent camera test is available here to settle that question.

Which phone has the better battery and charging?
The Redmi has the larger stated typical capacity, at 6,300mAh against Samsung’s 6,000mAh. Samsung’s February 2026 launch material states 25W charging, while Xiaomi specifies 15W wired charging and 7.5W wired reverse charging. That gives Samsung the higher listed wired charging rate, and Redmi the greater nominal capacity. Capacity and charging ratings do not establish real-world battery life or charging time; no paired test is available.
What do IP54 and IP52 mean here?
The Galaxy F70e carries a published IP54 rating and the Redmi A7 Pro 5G an IP52 rating. Samsung’s rating is higher, but neither should be described as waterproof or treated as an immersion rating. An IP label is not a promise that a phone can be submerged or used without care around liquids.
How do software support and memory options differ?
Xiaomi’s official specification page lists Android 16 with HyperOS 3.0 and promises four Android upgrades plus six years of security updates. The cited official Samsung product specification does not state an update-duration commitment; 91mobiles lists six years, but buyers should check Samsung’s current official wording before relying on that duration.
For storage, Samsung’s product page lists 4GB/128GB and 6GB/128GB versions. Xiaomi lists those two capacities as well as a 4GB/64GB version. When checking offers, compare the same RAM and storage tier rather than treating different configurations as equivalent.

Which is cheaper in India? Why the price difference is uncertain
Samsung India’s purchase page displayed ₹18,499 for 4GB/128GB and ₹21,499 for 6GB/128GB when accessed on October 4, 2026. These were displayed prices, not confirmed checkout totals: the page also showed dynamic template fields and “Not for sale” near the product heading. Xiaomi’s official specification page lists variants but does not provide a matching current price.
For context only, a 91mobiles comparison snapshot accessed on October 4, 2026 displayed ₹15,707 for the Samsung and ₹14,999 for the Redmi. These secondary figures may reflect different offers or variants and do not establish a reliable apples-to-apples price difference. Check the same RAM/storage configuration, seller, availability and checkout price on the day you buy.

Which one should you shortlist?
- Shortlist the Redmi A7 Pro 5G if a larger display, higher stated battery capacity, wired reverse charging or Xiaomi’s published software-support commitment matters most.
- Shortlist the Galaxy F70e 5G if the higher listed wired charging rate, IP54 rating or its 50MP-plus-2MP rear camera configuration better fits your priorities.
- Compare prices before deciding if value is the deciding factor: current comparable prices and availability are not established by the listed pages.
Neither specification sheet settles real-world gaming performance, photo quality or battery endurance. A Samsung benchmark score reported by 91mobiles has no corresponding Redmi score in that comparison, so it cannot support a head-to-head performance verdict.
