The official India pages document two phones with different strengths: Samsung’s Galaxy F70e has a 120 Hz HD+ display, microSD expansion and a published security-update period through 31 January 2032; Motorola’s India support page lists the moto g max with a sharper 120 Hz FHD+ display, a 7,000 mAh battery and 30 W charging. There is an important naming caveat: Motorola’s official India pages call it “moto g max,” not “Moto G Max 5G,” and a secondary page associates the latter name with different specifications. Confirm the exact model before comparing listings or buying.
First, confirm which Moto G Max you mean
This comparison uses the Samsung Galaxy F70e 5G and the Motorola model documented on Motorola’s India support page, which calls it “moto g max.” Motorola’s India family listing uses the same name. Neither official India page reviewed here adds “5G” to the model name.

A secondary comparison page labels a “Moto G Max 5G” with a Dimensity chipset and a 5,200 mAh battery, unlike the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 and 7,000 mAh battery in Motorola’s official support specifications. Treat the naming and specification conflict as unresolved; do not combine those listings or assume they describe the same market variant. Motorola also notes that specifications can vary by market. Check the full model name, region and seller listing before applying the comparison below.
Samsung’s Galaxy F70e unveiling was dated 14 February 2026 in a Samsung announcement mirror. The comparison below is based on the manufacturers’ India specifications, not hands-on testing.

Sources: Samsung India product specifications and Motorola Support India specifications. These are manufacturer-listed figures; they do not establish comparative real-world performance or image quality.
Which phone has the better display?
On resolution, the moto g max has the stronger specification: its listed 2400 × 1080 FHD+ panel has more pixels than the F70e’s 720 × 1600 HD+ screen. Both manufacturers list a 120 Hz refresh rate. That can support smoother scrolling, but it does not by itself establish panel quality, brightness or outdoor visibility.
Which has the larger battery, and which lasts longer?
The official figures favor Motorola on capacity: 7,000 mAh versus Samsung’s 6,000 mAh typical capacity (5,830 mAh rated/minimum). Motorola lists 30 W TurboPower charging; the reviewed Samsung product-page excerpt does not state a charging wattage. Motorola also claims up to 63 hours of battery life, a manufacturer claim rather than an independently verified test. Capacity and the claim alone cannot establish which phone lasts longer in a buyer’s actual use; Samsung notes that battery life depends on network, apps and usage.

- Absorption of light and sunlight will produce a fluorescent effect in a dark environment.
- Adhesive metal finger ring support [you can choose to stick to Case, or separate use], 360 degree rotation + car bracket magnetic suction
- PC hard back panel + soft silicone frame + four corners Shock Airbags
- The back side is a combination of 4 layers: solid PC, ultra-high definition pattern layer, special process layer, clear and scratch-resistant surface layer
- Case is higher than the camera as well as the screen, providing better flat protection
How do storage, cameras and durability compare?
Storage
Samsung documents microSD expansion up to 2 TB, with a hybrid SIM/microSD slot. Motorola lists 128 GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage and 6 GB LPDDR5X RAM; microSD support is not established in the reviewed support excerpt. If removable storage matters, verify the exact Motorola variant rather than inferring support from an unlisted feature.
Cameras
Motorola lists a higher-resolution 32 MP fixed-focus front camera than Samsung’s 8 MP fixed-focus front camera. Samsung lists a 50 MP + 2 MP rear setup and specifies that it has no OIS; Motorola lists a 50 MP main camera. Megapixel counts do not establish which phone takes better photos, and the listed specifications are not a substitute for comparable camera samples.
Durability and connections
Samsung specifies IP54 protection, with the caveat that resistance is not permanent and the phone is not intended for beach or pool use. The reviewed Motorola support page does not establish an IP rating, so the available information does not support treating the phones as equally water- or dust-resistant. Both list a 3.5 mm headphone jack and 5G Sub-6; Motorola lists dual physical SIMs, while Samsung uses a hybrid SIM/microSD slot. Check supported 5G bands against your carrier and location.

What are the prices in India, and is there a fair price difference?
At the time the pages were researched on 7 October 2026, Motorola India’s family listing displayed ₹25,999 for the moto g max, alongside an MRP of ₹42,999. A separate Gadgets 360 price report recorded an Amazon low price of ₹15,840 for the Galaxy F70e on 11 September 2026.

Do not use them to claim a current price gap. For a useful comparison, check both phones on the same day, for the same RAM/storage configuration and seller type, and account for bank offers, exchange discounts and whether a figure is MRP or a sale price. Samsung says product features, specifications and prices may change without notice.
Which phone is better value?
There is no reliable value verdict without a confirmed Motorola model identity and current, comparable prices. If the India moto g max specification is the one being sold, its documented advantages include the higher-resolution display, larger battery and 30 W charging. The F70e’s documented advantages include microSD expansion, IP54 protection and a stated security-update period through 31 January 2032. Choose based on the features you will use, then compare current prices only after confirming the exact Motorola variant.
