The sAMOLED panel gives the F70 the contrast and deep blacks associated with Samsung’s AMOLED displays. The cited F70 specification identifies the panel as FHD+ sAMOLED; it does not establish the 120Hz refresh rate or the Super AMOLED Plus branding listed for the A57, so buyers should not assume the two displays are equivalent.
Samsung Newsroom describes the F70e 5G as targeting value-conscious young consumers and says that launch model carries a six-year operating-system and security-update promise. What the Galaxy A57 5G adds
Samsung’s March 2026 A-series launch release says the new A-series offers up to six generations of operating-system upgrades, long-term security support, displays up to 120Hz and IP68 protection. The A57 specification page lists a 50MP OIS main camera, a 12MP ultrawide, a 5MP macro camera and a 12MP front camera. IP68 protection is useful for people who regularly deal with rain, splashes, dust or accidental water exposure, although it is not permission to treat a phone as indestructible or to ignore Samsung’s care guidance. Stereo speakers are preferable for games, video and speakerphone calls when you are not wearing headphones. The ultrawide lens gives you a wider field of view for landscapes, architecture and group shots that cannot fit comfortably into the main camera’s frame.
The A57’s 120Hz display can make scrolling and compatible animations look smoother than a 60Hz screen. “Super AMOLED Plus” is Samsung’s higher-tier display branding in this comparison; perceived improvement still depends on brightness, viewing conditions, software and the specific unit.

Price: why the F70 can be the rational choice
A Smartprix price snapshot updated 2 October 2026 listed the Galaxy F70’s lowest price at ₹25,999. The same snapshot listed the Galaxy A17 5G at ₹22,497, which shows why Samsung’s model names and street prices cannot be interpreted as a simple F-series-versus-A-series hierarchy. An A-series phone can be cheaper than an F-series phone when it belongs to a different tier.
Samsung India’s A57 buying page showed ₹62,999 for the 8GB/256GB configuration, alongside exchange and promotional prices. That is a dated list-price reference, not a guaranteed checkout total. Exchange value, bank offers, storage configuration, retailer stock and regional promotions can materially change what you pay. Compare the exact storage and RAM variant, warranty region and final cart price rather than relying on a headline number.

You prioritize endurance over charging specifications
Both phones list 5,000mAh batteries, so capacity alone does not guarantee that one lasts longer. Screen brightness, mobile signal, gaming, camera use and background applications determine actual runtime. The F70 additionally has a published 25W charging figure, giving buyers a clear expectation for its wired charging hardware.
You already use Samsung services

You record in 4K
The A57 specification page lists recording up to 4K. If your workflow includes editing or archiving higher-resolution footage, that published ceiling is a concrete reason to choose it. The cited F70 summary does not state a matching video limit.
You intend to keep the phone for many years
Samsung’s A-series launch release promises up to six generations of OS upgrades and long-term security support. The F70e launch announcement separately promises six years of OS and security updates.
