The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion leads on the published spec sheet for screen size and refresh rate, battery capacity and charging speed, camera resolution beyond the main sensor, and stated water and dust protection. The Samsung Galaxy F56 5G is lighter and has a clearly stated security-update end date: 31 December 2030. Which is better depends on which of those trade-offs matters to you; the listed prices are from different dates and are not a like-for-like current-price comparison.
Samsung Galaxy F56 vs Motorola Edge 70 Fusion: specs comparison
The figures below come from manufacturer specifications, not independent testing. Samsung’s cited product page identifies the F56’s CPU speeds but does not name its chipset. Motorola’s product and support pages list somewhat different storage configurations, noted in the table.

Which phone has the better display?
On the listed specifications, Motorola has the larger panel and higher maximum refresh rate: 6.8 inches and up to 144Hz, versus Samsung’s 6.7-inch-class display and up to 120Hz. Motorola also lists HDR10+, 10-bit colour, and peak brightness up to 5200 nits. That makes the Edge 70 Fusion the more feature-rich choice on paper for a large, smooth display. The brightness figure is a manufacturer claim, not an independently measured result here.

Battery and charging: what does the difference mean?
The Edge 70 Fusion has a listed 7000mAh battery and 68W charging; Samsung lists a 5000mAh typical capacity. Samsung specifies up to 26 hours of video playback, while Motorola claims up to 52 hours of battery life. Those estimates describe different manufacturer claims and conditions, so they should not be treated as a direct test or as a guarantee of everyday runtime. Capacity alone does not establish how long either phone lasts in your usage.
Camera comparison: stabilization, ultrawide and selfie
Both phones list optical image stabilization (OIS) for the 50MP main rear camera. Motorola specifies a 13MP ultrawide with a 120° field of view, PDAF and Macro Vision, plus a 32MP front camera. Samsung lists an 8MP ultrawide and 12MP front camera, alongside a 2MP rear camera. Motorola therefore has the higher listed resolutions for ultrawide and selfie cameras, but megapixel counts and feature lists do not establish which phone produces better photos or video.

Price difference: why the listed prices are not like-for-like
Samsung’s India launch announcement in May 2025 listed introductory prices that included an INR 2,000 instant bank discount. Motorola’s India product page showed a price and stock status when checked on 7 October 2026. The dates, price conditions, and available variants differ, so subtracting these figures does not give a reliable current price gap.

Software support and protection claims
Samsung’s product specifications give a specific security-update date—31 December 2030—which is useful if a documented security-support window is a priority. The cited Motorola specification page lists Android 16 but does not give a major-OS-upgrade count or a comparable security-update end date. That absence is not proof that Motorola will provide less support; it means the cited pages do not establish a direct commitment comparison.
Motorola lists IP68/IP69 protection and MIL-STD 810H. Samsung’s cited specifications do not establish an IP rating, so the available information supports a difference in documented claims, not a claim that the F56 has no protection. Neither standards listing should be read as a promise that a device cannot be damaged.

- Equipped with a 6.4″ Super AMOLED display that supports a smooth 120 Hz refresh rate and offers up to 1,000 nits of peak brightness, the Galaxy A54 5G delivers vibrant visuals, rich contrast, and excellent readability even in bright outdoor conditions.
Which is better for you?
- Consider the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion if the published specifications you value most are the 6.8-inch 144Hz display, 7000mAh battery, 68W charging, higher-resolution ultrawide and front cameras, and stated IP68/IP69 protection.
- Consider the Samsung Galaxy F56 5G if lower weight matters more—the listed phone weighs 180g versus Motorola’s 193g—or if you want the explicit security-update end date Samsung publishes.
- Compare the current, exact-variant price before choosing on cost: the available Samsung figure is a 2025 launch offer, while Motorola’s ₹30,999 page display was dated 7 October 2026 and marked out of stock.
These specifications do not settle real-world speed, camera output, heat under load, or battery endurance. The cited pages provide no comparable independent test results for those questions.
