The Samsung Galaxy F36 5G is the stronger on-paper pick for a sharper Super AMOLED display and microSD expansion. The OnePlus N6 5G is the more compelling choice if you value a much larger battery, faster wired charging, and its stated IP65 and MIL-STD-810H credentials. There is no verified current same-day price comparison, so the better buy depends on the exact memory configuration and live price you find in India.

Which phone has the better display?
The F36 has the clearer documented display advantage: Samsung specifies a 1080 × 2340 Super AMOLED panel with a refresh rate up to 120 Hz. Its stated 16.91 cm measurement is the full rectangle; Samsung also lists 16.45 cm for the area accounting for rounded corners. The N6 is listed at 120 Hz, but the available official specifications do not establish its resolution or panel technology. That means the refresh rate is comparable on paper, but a full resolution-and-panel comparison cannot be made from these specifications.

Which has better battery life and charging?
The N6 has the larger stated capacity: OnePlus lists 8,000 mAh typical and 7,780 mAh rated, compared with Samsung’s 5,000 mAh typical battery for the F36. These figures describe capacity, not a controlled head-to-head runtime test, so they do not establish exactly how many more hours the N6 will last in everyday use.
OnePlus specifies 45 W SuperVOOC charging and claims a 1% to 50% charge in 47 minutes under its stated test conditions. OnePlus says actual user results vary. This is a manufacturer test claim, not an independently verified comparison with the F36. Samsung lists up to 17 hours of video playback for the F36; that is also a manufacturer figure, not an independent battery-life test.

Its listed video capability reaches 4K at 30 frames per second. OnePlus lists a 50 MP main camera and an 8 MP front camera; 60 fps video recording is specified only for the N6’s 6 GB/128 GB version.
Megapixel counts alone do not establish which phone takes better photos. Sensor and lens characteristics, stabilization, image processing, and shooting conditions all matter, and there is no hands-on camera test here to rank the two.

What storage and configurations should you compare?
The official Samsung pages represent the F36 in 6 GB/128 GB and 8 GB/256 GB forms. Samsung specifies microSD expansion up to 2 TB on the 6 GB model, using a hybrid SIM/memory slot. OnePlus materials show the N6 in 4 GB/128 GB and 6 GB/128 GB variants.
Check the precise RAM and storage listing before comparing either phone’s price. The F36’s 8 GB/256 GB configuration is not equivalent to an N6 with 4 GB/128 GB, and the available OnePlus materials do not establish microSD support for the N6.

What do the N6’s IP65 and MIL-STD-810H claims mean?
OnePlus claims IP65 dust and water resistance and MIL-STD-810H certification for the N6. IP65 indicates protection against dust ingress and water jets under defined testing; it does not mean the phone is rated for submersion. The certification claim should not be read as a guarantee against damage in every drop, exposure, or environmental condition. These are OnePlus’s stated credentials, not results from independent durability testing in this comparison.

A price difference cannot be stated reliably without current, same-day prices for comparable configurations. OnePlus’s official promotion listed 4 GB/128 GB and 6 GB/128 GB N6 variants for September 1–30, 2026, but that offer window has ended. Comparison-site figures have been inconsistent, and the dated promotion does not establish October pricing.
