The Samsung Galaxy F36 5G is the stronger fit if you want a sharper Super AMOLED display and a clearly stated software-update commitment. The Moto G37 Power prioritizes a larger battery and higher listed charging wattage. Both have 120 Hz displays, but their resolution and panel types differ. The available prices are from different snapshots, so they do not establish a reliable current price difference.

Which phone has the better display?
The F36 has the clear specification advantage in resolution and panel type: its 1080 × 2340 Super AMOLED screen has substantially more pixels than the Moto G37 Power’s 1604 × 720 LCD. Both list a 120 Hz refresh rate, so that number alone does not distinguish them. Resolution and panel type indicate what each phone offers on paper, but do not establish every aspect of real-world display quality.

Motorola lists a 7,000 mAh battery, rated at 6,790 mAh, and 30 W wired charging. Samsung specifies a 5,000 mAh typical-capacity battery and its launch announcement lists 25 W charging. Those figures give the Moto G37 Power an advantage in stated capacity and charging wattage; they are not measured battery-life results. Actual endurance depends on use and conditions.

This device is compatible with T-Mobile networks and its MVNOs in the United States, carrier compatibility, activation, and network performance may vary depending on IMEI acceptance policies, carrier requirements, regional network support, and available frequency bands.

Camera hardware: what the specifications do and do not show
Samsung lists three rear cameras—50 MP, 8 MP and 2 MP—with optical image stabilization (OIS), plus a 13 MP front camera. Motorola lists a 50 MP main rear camera with f/1.8 aperture and phase-detection autofocus (PDAF), alongside an 8 MP front camera. These hardware details do not demonstrate which phone takes better photos; megapixel counts and camera configurations are not a substitute for comparable photo testing.
Software support and storage
Samsung states that the F36 receives six generations of Android upgrades and six years of security updates. Motorola’s support page lists Android 16 for the Moto G37 Power but does not state an equivalent update duration. That absence on the page is not proof that Motorola provides no updates; it means a like-for-like support period is not established by the cited specifications.

Price difference: launch prices are not a current like-for-like comparison
Samsung’s launch announcement listed the following introductory prices in India. The ₹16,499 price included a ₹1,000 introductory offer; these are launch-era figures, not confirmed current selling prices.

| 8 GB + 128 GB | ₹17,999 |
| 8 GB + 256 GB | ₹20,999 |
Motorola’s India catalog displayed the Moto G37 Power at ₹19,999 against an MRP of ₹26,499 when observed on 5 October 2026. The catalog showed 4/64 GB, 4/128 GB and 8/128 GB configurations, but did not make the displayed price-to-variant association clear enough for a direct comparison. This is a catalog display, not a verified transaction price.
Because the Samsung figures are launch introductory prices and the Motorola figure is an observed catalog display, subtracting them would produce a misleading price difference. Check both listings on the same day, select equivalent RAM and storage tiers, and distinguish MRP from a current selling price or offer. The cited prices are from Samsung Newsroom India and the Motorola India catalog.

Which one should you choose?
- Choose the Galaxy F36 5G for its listed display and support commitments: it pairs a higher-resolution Super AMOLED panel with Samsung’s stated six-generation Android-upgrade and six-year security-update commitment.
- Consider the Moto G37 Power if battery capacity and charging wattage top your list: Motorola lists a larger-capacity battery and 30 W wired charging, but those specifications alone cannot confirm longer battery life.
- Compare live prices only after choosing a configuration: the available price figures are not equivalent, same-date quotes.
Processor specifications alone do not establish a performance winner, and the listed camera hardware does not establish a photo-quality winner. A decision on either point needs comparable independent testing; the manufacturer specifications cited here do not provide it.
