The Galaxy Book3 Pro 360’s standout strengths are its large OLED touchscreen, pen-friendly convertible design, and strong battery result in one video-playback test. HotHardware measured more than 11 hours, but also found significant throttling during an extended stress run. That makes it a more convincing fit for media, note-taking, and bursty productivity than for long stretches of demanding processing.
How long does the Galaxy Book3 Pro 360 battery last?
HotHardware reported more than 11 hours in its PCMark battery test, which looped 1080p video in Windows 11 Movies and TV until the laptop shut down. Wi-Fi was on, Windows Quiet Hours / Focus Assist was enabled, and brightness was calibrated to about 115 lux. This is a reviewer measurement under a video-playback workload, not a promise of the same runtime during mixed everyday use. Airplane mode could extend a travel-use result.

PCWorld reported 812 minutes—just over 13.5 hours—in a different test that looped 4K video until shutdown. The two figures should not be treated as a head-to-head comparison: the publications used different video resolutions and test protocols.

HotHardware observed that the fans stop when the laptop is cool enough. During its 3DMark Time Spy stress test, the reviewer measured about 37 dBA from one foot after the fans spun up. In the described sustained test, surface temperatures reached around 104–105°F and CPU temperature peaked at about 75°C.

Those readings describe the review’s test conditions, not every application or environment. Under extended stress, HotHardware found significant throttling to manage temperature. The practical takeaway is that this thin convertible is better suited to short bursts of demanding work than to workloads that keep the processor heavily occupied for a long time.
What makes the Pro 360 appealing?
The core proposition is a 360-degree convertible with a touchscreen and an included S Pen. Samsung’s regional specifications describe a 16-inch 3K Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel at 2880×1800 with a 120Hz refresh rate, 400 nits typical brightness, and 500 nits in HDR. Samsung’s broader US brochure also describes 14- and 16-inch Pro 360 models. Display size and processor options vary by model and region, so check the exact SKU before buying.

In PCWorld’s reviewed configuration, the laptop used a Core i7-1360P, 16GB of LPDDR5 memory, Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics, and a 512GB or 1TB SSD. That configuration also had two Thunderbolt 4 ports, USB-A, HDMI 1.4, microSD, and a headphone/mic connection. These are configuration-specific details, not a guarantee for every regional model.
The screen and convertible form make the machine naturally suited to watching media, writing or marking up notes with the pen, and general productivity. PCWorld praised its OLED display and sound, while characterizing performance as “Good, not great.” The integrated Iris Xe graphics and HotHardware’s sustained-load findings are reasons not to treat it as a gaming or long-duration rendering powerhouse.

Is it worth buying?
It may suit someone who values a large OLED display, touchscreen and pen input, and a hinge that can shift between laptop and tablet-style use. Its battery results are encouraging for video playback, and the fans can stop under light enough loads. The evidence is less favorable for buyers whose main priority is sustained CPU or GPU work; compare long-duration performance and cooling behavior before choosing it for that purpose.
