The vivo V70 Elite lists a dedicated 50MP telephoto camera, a larger 6,500mAh battery and 90W charging. Samsung’s Galaxy A57 5G counters with a published IP68 rating and a commitment of up to six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates. Neither is a universal winner: the better fit depends on which hardware and long-term assurances matter more to you.

Camera: the V70 Elite adds a dedicated telephoto
For zoom and portrait framing
The V70 Elite’s listed rear system includes a dedicated 50MP ZEISS OIS night telephoto, alongside its 50MP main and 8MP ultrawide cameras. The A57 lists a 50MP wide, 12MP ultrawide and 5MP macro camera. That makes the vivo’s camera layout the more explicit choice for someone who wants a telephoto lens rather than relying on a crop from the main camera.

What the specifications cannot tell you
Megapixel counts and lens labels do not prove which phone takes better photos overall. No matched camera test is established here, so image quality across daylight, low light, portraits or video cannot be ranked from these specifications alone.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsBattery and charging: bigger listed capacity is not a runtime test
vivo lists a 6,500mAh typical battery and 90W charging for the V70 Elite. Samsung lists a 5,000mAh typical battery for the A57 and says Super Fast Charging 2.0 can reach up to 60% in around 30 minutes. Samsung’s estimate is manufacturer-provided and can vary with usage and conditions; the capacity and charging ratings are not results from a shared endurance or charging test.

These figures favor the V70 Elite on stated battery capacity and rated charging power, but they do not establish which phone lasts longer in a buyer’s day-to-day use.
Software support and durability: Samsung publishes the clearer commitments
Updates
Samsung states that the Galaxy A57 series will receive up to six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates. It also notes that timing and availability can vary. The vivo India listing identifies OriginOS 6, but the sources cited here do not establish an equivalent V70 Elite update-duration policy.

Water resistance
Samsung gives the A57 an IP68 rating and specifies fresh-water testing up to 1.5m for up to 30 minutes. This is Samsung’s stated test condition, not a reason to treat any phone as immune to damage. A comparable official water-resistance rating for the V70 Elite was not established in the cited sources; that does not prove the vivo phone has no protection.

Which phone should you choose?
- Choose the vivo V70 Elite if its dedicated telephoto camera, 6,500mAh listed battery or 90W charging are priorities for you. Treat those as specification-based advantages, not proof of better photos or longer real-world battery life.
- Choose the Samsung Galaxy A57 if Samsung’s published IP68 rating and up-to-six-generation OS and six-year security-update policy matter more to you.
- Compare local terms before buying if warranty coverage, supported network bands or software preference will decide the purchase. The cited specifications do not establish a warranty or network-compatibility advantage for either phone.
Neither the A57 chipset nor a controlled, same-method performance comparison is established in the cited material. Do not use the V70 Elite’s named processor alone to infer a performance or gaming winner.
