The POCO X8 Power 5G is listed with a larger screen and twice the battery capacity of the Samsung Galaxy A57 5G, while the A57 is lighter, has Samsung-rated IP68 protection, and comes with a stated long software-support commitment. The price comparison is less certain: 91mobiles lists India-facing prices that put POCO ₹23,000 lower, but that is not a verified current price comparison for matching storage, sellers, or warranty terms. Check local listings before deciding.

Which phone has the bigger display?
The reported POCO display is 6.83 inches, compared with 6.7 inches for the Galaxy A57. Samsung specifies an FHD+ Super AMOLED Plus panel with refresh rates up to 120 Hz; 91mobiles lists the POCO as a 120 Hz AMOLED display. The published diagonal gives POCO the larger screen, but the figures do not establish differences in brightness, color accuracy, or outdoor readability.

Which has the bigger battery and faster charging?
91mobiles reports a 10,000 mAh battery and 100 W charging for POCO, versus Samsung’s stated 5,000 mAh typical battery. On paper, that gives POCO twice the battery capacity. Capacity does not predict screen-on time by itself: display size, chipset, software, signal conditions, and usage all affect endurance, and no comparable independent battery test is established here.

These specifications describe hardware, not photo quality. Megapixel counts alone cannot show detail, color, low-light performance, stabilization results, or video quality. No independent camera comparison is established here, so choose based on sample photos or a hands-on comparison if camera performance is a deciding factor.

Software support, durability, and portability
Software support and protection
Samsung states that the Galaxy A57 supports up to six OS upgrades and six years of security updates, and rates it IP68 for dust and water resistance. The cited sources do not establish an official POCO support policy or protection rating for the X8 Power 5G. That absence is not proof that POCO offers no support or protection; check the policy and rating for the exact model and market before treating them as equivalent.

Which should you choose?
- Consider the Galaxy A57 5G if Samsung’s published six-year security-update commitment, IP68 rating, lighter published weight, or its specified camera setup matters most to you.
- Consider the POCO X8 Power 5G if its reported larger display and 10,000 mAh battery are priorities, and you have verified its specifications, local price, warranty, and support policy for your region.
- Compare actual listings first if price is the deciding factor: the ₹23,000 gap is specific to 91mobiles’ displayed India-facing prices, not a confirmed current like-for-like deal.
