What is the India price difference?
The available figures come from different dates and configurations, not a synchronized current-price check:
- Samsung Galaxy A56 5G: Samsung India announced launch prices on 3 March 2025 of ₹41,999 for 8GB/128GB, ₹44,999 for 8GB/256GB and ₹47,999 for 12GB/256GB. Samsung also announced launch storage-upgrade offers at the time; their current availability is not established. See the Samsung India launch announcement.
- vivo T5 5G: vivo India’s official store listing snapshot, accessed in 2026, showed ₹34,999 for a selected 6GB/128GB variant and an MRP of ₹49,999. Prices for the other listed configurations were not verified. Check the vivo India store listing for the current selection and price.
The nominal ₹7,000 difference between ₹41,999 and ₹34,999 compares Samsung’s historical 8GB/128GB launch price with vivo’s observed 6GB/128GB store listing. It is not evidence of a current ₹7,000 saving: the RAM configurations differ, and the figures were not checked on the same date. Compare live prices for matching RAM and storage before making a value judgment.
Which phone should you choose?
- Consider the vivo T5 5G if a larger, higher-resolution display and higher stated battery capacity are your main priorities, or if its advertised durability features matter to you.
- Consider the Samsung Galaxy A56 5G if you prefer Samsung’s One UI features or want the listed 12MP ultra-wide and 5MP macro cameras alongside the main camera.
- Compare exact listings before buying if price is decisive. Match RAM and storage, verify the selected Indian variant, and check the live price rather than treating the launch price and store snapshot as a direct comparison.
The specifications establish differences, not an overall performance winner. Neither the cited product pages nor the launch and store listings provide hands-on comparative results or an independent performance verdict.
