Which display suits you?
The P3 Ultra has the larger panel at 6.83 inches, lists 1.5K resolution and uses curved AMOLED glass. The A56’s 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display is smaller and has a flat-panel specification. Both manufacturers list refresh rates up to 120Hz, so that headline figure does not distinguish them.
Choose based on size and shape: the realme’s larger curved screen may appeal if you prioritize a more expansive viewing area, while the Samsung’s smaller display may be preferable if you want a less large phone. A resolution and refresh-rate listing alone does not establish real-world brightness, color accuracy or outdoor legibility.

Performance, storage and software
realme names the P3 Ultra’s MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultra and offers listed memory/storage combinations of 8GB or 12GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB storage. Samsung identifies an octa-core processor with a maximum listed clock of 2.9GHz, and its cited page shows an 8GB/256GB configuration. The manufacturers’ unlike specifications do not establish a performance winner; no benchmark or hands-on gaming evidence is available here.
The P3 Ultra is listed with realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15. The cited Samsung product specifications do not establish a directly comparable software-support duration, so they are not enough to say which phone will receive updates for longer.

Camera hardware and video modes
The A56 lists three rear camera resolutions—50MP, 12MP and 5MP—and OIS on its main camera. The P3 Ultra lists a 50MP Sony IMX896 main camera with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. The Samsung therefore has an additional listed rear camera, but the number of cameras and their megapixel counts do not prove better photo quality.
For video, realme lists rear recording up to 4K at 60fps, while Samsung lists 4K at 30fps. That is a difference in published maximum mode, not evidence that one phone produces better-looking or more stable footage. The front cameras are listed at 16MP for realme and 12MP for Samsung; resolution alone does not settle selfie quality.

Battery capacity, charging and weight
realme lists a 6,000mAh typical battery and 80W SUPERVOOC charging; Samsung lists a 5,000mAh typical battery. These capacities do not establish measured runtime, and the rated charging specification is not a measured charging time. Battery life depends on use and conditions.
The P3 Ultra is listed at about 183g or 186g depending on finish, versus 198g for the A56. Treat the realme weight as finish-dependent rather than a single fixed figure.

Those third-party figures are not a verified quote for matching storage configurations from the same authorized retailer. The realme official store page cited here does not provide a usable price, so the available figures do not establish a definitive current price difference. The Smartprix comparison is useful as a dated reference, not a like-for-like price guarantee.
- Choose the storage and RAM configuration you would actually buy on each phone.
- Check both at the same authorized retailer on the same day, including any applicable offers.
- Subtract those two current prices to find the meaningful price gap; do not compare a third-party deal figure with a manufacturer page price.
What comes in the box
realme lists an 80W power adapter and protective case with the P3 Ultra. Samsung’s listed A56 package includes a data cable and ejection pin, but excludes a travel adapter. That changes what you may need to buy separately; confirm packaging for the exact market and seller before ordering.
Which one should you choose?
- Consider the realme P3 Ultra if the larger 1.5K curved display, higher listed battery capacity, 80W charging specification, or bundled adapter and case matter most to you.
- Consider the Galaxy A56 5G if you prefer Samsung’s listed three-camera rear setup or want its 6.7-inch FHD+ display; account for the separately needed travel adapter if you do not already have one.
- Do not decide from specs alone if your priority is camera quality, battery runtime, gaming performance or longer software support. The published specifications cited here do not determine those outcomes.
realme announced the P3 Ultra’s India launch for March 19, 2025, in its India newsroom announcement. The comparison above concerns India-market specifications and the dated price references stated in the price section.
