The OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite 5G looks stronger on paper for battery capacity and screen refresh rate, but the available specifications for it come from comparison databases rather than an official OnePlus source. The right pick depends on which of those differences matters most—and on the live price for the same storage configuration in India.

What the display difference means
The A56 uses a Super AMOLED screen, while the Nord CE 6 Lite is listed with an LCD. Panel type and refresh rate describe different things: AMOLED is the A56’s display technology, while 144Hz is the Nord’s listed refresh rate. A higher refresh rate can make supported motion look smoother, but it does not by itself establish better contrast, color or overall image quality. If display feel is decisive, compare both screens in person rather than treating the two specifications as interchangeable.

- The included 25W Fast Charger is a generic accessory and is not a Samsung-branded charger, 6.7" FHD+ Super AMOLED, 120Hz, HDR10+, 1080x2340px, Fingerprint (under display, optical), IP67 dust and water resistance

Camera flexibility: the ultra-wide is the key distinction
Samsung lists three rear cameras on the A56, including a 12MP ultra-wide alongside the main and macro cameras. That gives it a separately listed wider-angle option for scenes where stepping back is impractical. Gadgets 360 lists a 50MP and 2MP rear-camera combination for the Nord CE 6 Lite, without an ultra-wide in that specification. The megapixel figures alone do not show which phone produces better images; no comparative camera testing is established here.
Battery capacity, charging and durability
The Nord’s listed 7,000mAh capacity is larger than the A56’s Samsung-confirmed 5,000mAh figure, and both are listed with 45W charging. Capacity is not a runtime guarantee: screen settings, network conditions, software and usage affect how long a charge lasts.
For protection, Samsung states IP67 and Gorilla Glass Victus+ for the A56; Gadgets 360 lists IP64 for the Nord CE 6 Lite. These ratings indicate different levels of dust and water protection, but neither makes a phone damage-proof. Treat the Nord rating as a database listing until confirmed by OnePlus.

Software support and long-term ownership
Samsung’s launch announcement promises up to six generations of Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates for the A56. For the Nord CE 6 Lite, 91mobiles lists two years of OS updates and four years of security updates, but an official OnePlus policy was not located. Verify OnePlus’s current support commitment for the exact model before buying if update longevity is a deciding factor.

Samsung’s published A56 prices are historical launch prices from 3 March 2025, not a statement of today’s selling price. The announcement also described launch-period offers; those should not be treated as current discounts.
When accessed for a comparison, 91mobiles displayed ₹33,158 for the A56 and ₹28,999 for the Nord CE 6 Lite. These are comparison-page snapshots, not official or durable prices; they may be stale or tied to a particular seller or variant. The displayed figures imply a ₹4,159 gap at that snapshot, but that is not a reliable current price difference.

For a purchase-day comparison, check the same RAM and storage tier, seller, warranty and offer conditions for both phones. A lower listing for one model is not an apples-to-apples saving if it is a different configuration or seller. Samsung’s launch prices and the dated comparison snapshot are not directly interchangeable.
Which one should you buy?
Pick the Galaxy A56 5G if
- You want Samsung-confirmed Super AMOLED display specifications.
- You expect to use an ultra-wide rear camera.
- You value the A56’s stated IP67 rating and Gorilla Glass Victus+.
- A longer, manufacturer-stated software-support commitment matters to you.
Consider the Nord CE 6 Lite 5G if
- You prioritize its listed 7,000mAh capacity or 144Hz refresh rate.
- You are comfortable making the decision using secondary-source specifications and can verify the model, availability and support policy with the seller or OnePlus before purchase.
- Its live price for the storage configuration you want makes it the better value for your needs.
For either model, base the final decision on verified specifications for the exact Indian variant and a current same-configuration price, not a launch price or an undated comparison listing.
