Which phone is better for your priorities?
Choose the Galaxy A56 for its stated software support and ultrawide camera
Samsung’s commitment is up to six generations of Android and One UI upgrades, plus six years of security updates. OnePlus lists four Android OS updates and six years of security updates. That gives the A56 the longer stated major-version upgrade count; it does not establish how quickly updates arrive in every region.
#1 Best Overall
- 25W Samsung Super Fast Charger Included, 6.7" FHD+ Super AMOLED, 120Hz, HDR10+, 1080x2340px, Fingerprint (under display, optical), IP67 dust and water resistance
- 256GB, 8GB, No SD Card Slot, Exynos 1580 (4nm), Octa-core, Xclipse 540 GPU, Android 15, up to 6 major Android upgrades, One UI 7
- Rear Camera: 50MP, f/1.8 + 12MP, f/2.2 + 5MP, f/2.4, Front Camera: 12MP, f/2.2, 5000mAh Battery, Bluetooth 5.3
The A56 also has a specified 12MP ultrawide rear camera alongside its main and macro cameras. The Nord 6 product-page details cited here advertise a 50MP Sony main camera with dual-axis OIS but do not establish a directly comparable full rear-camera array. If an ultrawide lens matters, check the exact Nord 6 regional specifications rather than assuming what is or is not included.
Consider the Nord 6 for its advertised refresh rate, battery capacity and charging wattage
OnePlus advertises a 165Hz AMOLED display, a 7,500mAh battery and 80W charging. Samsung lists a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with up to 120Hz refresh, a 5,000mAh battery and 45W charging for the A56. These figures may make the Nord 6 more appealing on paper if you prioritize a high refresh-rate specification or larger stated capacity.
Refresh rate and panel type do not establish brightness, color accuracy or overall display quality. Battery capacity is not a measure of actual runtime, and maximum charging wattage does not guarantee a particular charging time. Check the local model’s charging compatibility and package contents; do not assume an adapter is included or that any charger will deliver the advertised maximum.

Do not treat the camera megapixels as a photo-quality verdict
The A56’s listed rear setup is 50MP main with OIS, 12MP ultrawide and 5MP macro; its front camera is 12MP. OnePlus advertises a 50MP Sony main camera with dual-axis OIS and a 32MP front camera, along with 4K 60fps video. Samsung’s launch material mentions 10-bit HDR front recording. Megapixel counts and supported video modes do not show which phone takes better photographs or video; that requires comparable testing.
What the Nord 6 gaming and battery claims mean
OnePlus markets the Nord 6 with the claim “Segment’s first steady-smooth 165 FPS PUBG gaming for a cool hour.” Its stated test conditions include a 12GB Nord 6 using Pro Gamer mode and Adaptive Frame Booster, specified graphics settings, 280-nit display brightness and specified volume. This is a manufacturer claim under those conditions, not an independent result or a guarantee for other games, settings or ambient conditions. OnePlus Nord 6 product page and claim notes
OnePlus also advertises “7500 mAh for 2.5+ days of power.” Treat that as the manufacturer’s endurance claim, not a universal expectation: actual battery life depends on usage and conditions, and the available information does not provide an independent head-to-head endurance test.

What is the price difference in India?
A fixed current price gap is not supported by the available India-facing comparisons. One comparison listing showed the Galaxy A56 at ₹34,999 and the Nord 6 at ₹46,999, while another showed a different A56 amount. The listings do not establish matching storage variants, offer conditions or listing dates, so those figures cannot be used to declare a dependable difference or a value winner. 91mobiles comparison listing
To calculate a useful gap, compare current offers in the same market for the same RAM and storage tier, and note the date, discount and seller warranty. If the configurations or seller terms differ, the cheaper headline price may not represent a like-for-like deal.
How to make the final choice
- Favor the Galaxy A56 if the longer stated Android/One UI upgrade count or its listed ultrawide camera is more important to you.
- Consider the Nord 6 if its advertised 165Hz refresh rate, larger stated battery or higher maximum charging wattage matters more, while recognizing that specifications and vendor claims do not prove superior real-world results.
- Let price decide only after checking live, comparable offers for the same market and storage configuration.
- Confirm the exact regional model before relying on the Nord 6’s full chipset name, camera array, dimensions, charger compatibility or box contents.
There is no independent head-to-head evidence here to rank these phones for sustained performance, display quality, camera results or battery endurance. Choose by the documented features that matter most to you, rather than treating any single headline specification as a complete verdict.
