Which phone has the better display?
On paper, the vivo T5 Pro leads in size, resolution and refresh rate: its listed panel is 6.83 inches, 2800 × 1260 and 144Hz, against the Galaxy A37’s 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with refresh rates up to 120Hz. Those figures may appeal if you prefer a larger, sharper panel or prioritize a higher refresh-rate specification. They do not prove that the vivo looks brighter, has more accurate colors or is easier to read outdoors; those comparisons need like-for-like testing.
Battery and charging: the T5 Pro has the published advantage
vivo lists a 9020mAh battery and 90W charging for the T5 Pro. Samsung lists a 5000mAh typical battery for the A37; the consulted Samsung material does not state a comparable charging wattage. Capacity and charging wattage favor vivo in the published specifications, but neither figure alone establishes how long a phone lasts in everyday use or how quickly it charges in every condition. Samsung notes that typical battery capacity is estimated under laboratory conditions and that actual battery life varies.

Camera differences: more rear-camera options on Samsung
The A37 lists three rear cameras: a 50MP main, 8MP ultrawide and 5MP macro. The T5 Pro lists a 50MP Sony IMX882 main camera and a 2MP bokeh camera. The Samsung therefore offers more listed rear-camera perspectives, including ultrawide and macro; vivo lists a higher-resolution front camera, 32MP versus Samsung’s 12MP. Megapixel counts and camera modules alone do not establish which phone takes better photos or selfies. No controlled comparative image-quality results are established by the cited official material.
Software support and durability
Update commitments
Samsung states that the Galaxy A37 will receive up to six generations of OS upgrades and up to six years of security updates. vivo’s launch release states a three-year update period calculated from local launch. Samsung’s published commitment is longer as stated, but the wording and scope are not identical; compare the specific update type and start point rather than treating the periods as perfectly equivalent.

Water and dust protection
Samsung rates the A37 IP68 and describes a freshwater laboratory test of submersion up to 1.5 metres for up to 30 minutes. Samsung also cautions that resistance can diminish through normal wear. vivo’s launch release describes the T5 Pro as IP68 and IP69 durable, but the consulted material does not establish matching test protocols or warranty treatment. Neither rating is permission for intentional immersion, and a rating does not establish that water damage is covered by warranty.
