Both list FHD+ AMOLED-family displays with refresh rates up to 120 Hz. A reliable current, same-market price gap is not established, so compare live offers for matching storage, seller and warranty region rather than relying on an unsupported price figure.

Which phone has the better display?
Both manufacturers list AMOLED-family panels with FHD+ resolution and refresh rates reaching 120 Hz. The Galaxy A37 is marginally larger by the stated diagonal: Samsung gives 6.7 inches measured as a full rectangle, or 6.5 inches accounting for rounded corners, while OPPO gives 16.69 cm (about 6.57 inches). OPPO specifies adaptive 60, 90 and 120 Hz modes and a typical high-brightness mode of 1,400 nits. The cited Samsung UK page does not provide a comparable brightness figure, so the available specifications do not support a like-for-like brightness verdict.
Battery capacity and charging: OPPO’s spec-sheet advantage
OPPO lists a 7,000 mAh typical battery (6,830 mAh rated) and charging support up to 80 W SUPERVOOC. Samsung UK lists 5,000 mAh typical and a charging input range up to 45 W; it also gives video playback of up to 29 hours. These are manufacturer specifications, not a controlled comparison of real-world battery life or charging time. Charging speed can depend on the charger, cable, temperature and usage; OPPO also lists compatibility with certain lower-wattage SUPERVOOC, PPS and PD supplies.

Camera options: choose by lens coverage, not megapixels
Samsung Galaxy A37
Samsung India lists three rear cameras: a 50 MP wide camera, an 8 MP ultrawide and a 5 MP macro. The extra ultrawide lens gives a documented wider-scene option that the OPPO spec list does not identify.
OPPO F33 Pro
OPPO India lists a 50 MP f/1.8 autofocus main rear camera and a 2 MP monochrome rear camera, plus a 50 MP f/2.0 autofocus front camera. The cited Samsung pages do not state a comparable front-camera specification. Megapixel counts alone do not demonstrate which phone takes better photos; the official specification pages do not provide independent image-quality testing.

OPPO’s India page lists 8 GB + 128 GB and 8 GB + 256 GB variants, with microSD-card support. Check that the specific Galaxy A37 regional listing has the storage capacity you need: the cited Samsung UK page does not state its configurations.

Software support and durability
Samsung India says the Galaxy A37 is eligible for up to six OS upgrades and up to six years of security and maintenance releases. That is the clearer published support commitment in these cited pages; the OPPO India specification page lists ColorOS 16.0 but does not state a support duration.
Samsung India also specifies IP68 protection and Gorilla Glass Victus+ on the front and rear. Samsung describes its IP test as freshwater submersion up to 1.5 metres for up to 30 minutes, cautions that resistance can diminish over time, and advises against beach or pool use. Treat this as a stated rating with those limitations, not a guarantee against all water damage.

Price difference: how to compare without a misleading number
No dependable current price difference can be stated from the available product pages: Samsung India’s page showed “Not for sale,” and no matching, authoritative price pair was verified. Retail snippets without a confirmed same-market, same-storage comparison can be misleading, especially where seller, warranty region or phone variant differs.
- Choose the country where you will use and warranty the phone.
- Compare the same storage capacity where both models offer it, and record the exact model and region.
- Check the final price from sellers with comparable warranty coverage, delivery and return terms.
- Use listings viewed at the same time; prices and availability can change.
Which one should you choose?
- Consider the OPPO F33 Pro if its India-market configuration suits you and your priorities are its listed 7,000 mAh typical battery, up-to-80 W charging, 50 MP autofocus front camera, microSD support or 256 GB option.
- Consider the Galaxy A37 if you value a listed ultrawide rear camera, Samsung’s stated software-support period, or its India-page IP68 and Gorilla Glass Victus+ claims.
- Check both local listings carefully if eSIM, 5G bands, storage, local warranty or a specific price is decisive. The sources cover different markets, so regional specifications and availability may vary.
Neither specification sheet establishes independent benchmark performance, camera quality, actual battery runtime or charge time. For those outcomes, these published figures alone cannot identify an overall performance winner.
