Samsung separately announced a South Korean launch price of ₩598,400 for the Galaxy A37 5G in its June 18, 2026 Korea newsroom announcement. That is a Korea-market launch price, not an India price, and should not be compared directly with the rupee listings.

How do the camera systems compare?
Samsung lists three rear cameras: a 50MP wide camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8MP ultrawide, and a 5MP macro. Its front camera is 12MP. The 91mobiles listing gives the POCO two rear cameras—a 50MP main and an 8MP ultrawide—and a 32MP front camera.
These specifications do not establish photo or video quality. Megapixel counts alone cannot determine detail, low-light results, stabilization performance, or color processing, and the listed figures are not a substitute for matched camera testing.

Battery capacity and charging
The listed capacities are 5,000mAh for Samsung and 10,000mAh for POCO. If the POCO figure is accurate for the specific model sold to you, it is twice Samsung’s stated capacity on paper. Capacity alone does not prove twice the real-world battery life: screen size, components, software, network conditions, and usage affect endurance.

Software updates and support
Samsung’s Korea launch material promises the Galaxy A37 5G up to six OS upgrades and up to six years of security updates. 91mobiles lists four years of OS updates and six years of security updates for the POCO X8 Power 5G, but that POCO commitment was not confirmed from an official manufacturer source here. The phrase “up to” in Samsung’s promise also matters: it describes the stated maximum, not a guarantee that every device receives every upgrade on a fixed schedule.
Which phone should you choose?
Consider the POCO if price and listed battery capacity lead your decision
The comparison page shows the POCO at the lower India price and lists a 10,000mAh battery with 100W charging. Those points may suit a buyer prioritizing the displayed price or battery capacity, but confirm the exact regional model and specifications with the seller or POCO before paying.

Consider the Samsung if manufacturer-stated support and OIS matter more
Samsung’s six-year security-update and up-to-six-OS-upgrade commitments are supported by Samsung’s own Korea launch announcement. Its camera specification also explicitly includes OIS on the 50MP wide camera. Choose it for those documented points if they matter more to you than the price and capacity figures in the comparison listing.
