What the display and battery numbers mean
TECNO lists a slightly larger panel with higher resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, compared with the A36’s 120Hz listing. That gives the POVA the advantage in stated screen specifications, but resolution and refresh rate alone do not establish color accuracy, brightness outdoors or overall viewing quality.

1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsThe POVA’s listed battery capacity is 1500mAh greater, while both phones are listed with 45W charging. Capacity does not establish how long a phone lasts in everyday use, and the figures do not establish charging time. Usage, software, network conditions and the charger supplied in a particular market can affect those outcomes.

How do the cameras and performance compare?
The POVA’s official regional specification lists optical image stabilization (OIS) on its 50MP main camera. The A36’s 91mobiles listing also gives it a 50MP main camera, plus an 8MP ultra-wide and 5MP macro; the POVA is listed with an 8MP ultra-wide but no macro camera in the cited specifications. Megapixel counts and the presence of OIS do not, by themselves, show which phone takes better photos.
The chipset names identify different platforms, but the available specifications do not include a comparable independent test. They are not enough to rank everyday speed or gaming performance reliably.

Quick Recap
Which should you choose?
- Consider the POVA 8 Pro 5G if its locally available variant offers the screen specifications, listed battery capacity or storage you want, and its current price and service arrangements make sense for you.
- Consider the Galaxy A36 5G if its local price is more attractive to you or you want the listed 5MP macro camera. The India snapshot is not a promise that it will remain cheaper.
