The Galaxy F70 Pro 5G makes the stronger case if you want a larger display, more battery capacity and Samsung’s longer announced software-support window. The Galaxy A35 5G is the more evidence-backed choice for water resistance, and it has higher published ultrawide and selfie-camera resolutions. In a Smartprix listing snapshot updated October 6, 2026, the F70 Pro was listed ₹5,809 below the A35—but the compared configurations had different RAM amounts, so check like-for-like prices before deciding.
Price difference: the F70 Pro listing was lower, but the comparison is not like for like
Smartprix’s October 6, 2026 listing showed the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G at ₹26,190 for 6GB RAM/128GB storage and the Galaxy A35 5G at ₹31,999 for 8GB RAM/128GB storage—a displayed difference of ₹5,809. These are retailer listing prices, not Samsung-set prices, and the RAM configurations differ. Smartprix’s comparison listing also says its details were last updated that day.

Gadgets 360’s October 7, 2026 F70 Pro price table likewise listed ₹26,190 for the 6GB/128GB variant, with higher prices for 8GB variants and 256GB storage. The A35’s original Indian launch prices were ₹27,999 for 8GB/128GB and ₹30,999 for 8GB/256GB; those are historical launch prices, not current street prices. Gadgets 360’s F70 Pro price table and Samsung’s A35 launch announcement provide those respective figures.

Display and performance: similar screen fundamentals, no proven speed winner
Both phones list a 120Hz FHD+ Super AMOLED display at 1080 × 2340 resolution. Samsung’s diagonal measurements make the F70 Pro slightly larger: 16.91 cm versus 16.83 cm for the A35. The stated specifications do not establish a meaningful difference in sharpness or panel technology.
Samsung names the A35’s processor as Exynos 1380. Its F70 Pro product page lists CPU speeds of 2.4GHz and 1.8GHz but does not name the processor; Gadgets 360 names a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3. No comparable benchmark results are available here, so these details do not support a claim that one phone is faster. If performance is decisive, look for independent tests of the exact Indian variants rather than relying on clock speeds or chip names alone.

Cameras: lens roles matter more than headline megapixels
Each phone has a 50MP main rear camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS). Samsung lists an 8MP ultrawide and 5MP macro on the A35; the F70 Pro has 5MP and 2MP secondary rear cameras. The published figures give the A35 the higher stated ultrawide resolution and a named macro camera, but megapixels alone do not establish detail, colour, focus or low-light performance. The available specifications do not establish a directly comparable role for both F70 Pro secondary cameras.

The A35’s front camera is listed at 13MP and the F70 Pro’s at 12MP. Samsung also markets the F70 Pro selfie camera as HDR-capable. That resolution difference does not prove which phone takes better-looking selfies; comparable camera testing would be needed.

Battery and charging: more stated capacity is not a runtime test
Samsung lists a typical 6000mAh battery for the F70 Pro, compared with 5000mAh typical for the A35. For the F70 Pro’s 6GB model, Samsung gives a rated minimum of 5,830mAh. The higher typical capacity is a useful specification advantage, but it does not by itself establish how much longer the phone lasts: display use, network conditions, software and other factors affect runtime, and no comparable endurance test is available here.
Samsung’s A35 launch announcement specifies 25W charging; Gadgets 360 lists 45W fast charging for the F70 Pro. The Samsung F70 Pro product page consulted did not establish a charger-in-box claim, so check the exact retail package rather than assuming an adapter is included.

Durability, storage and handling
Samsung Newsroom India states that the A35 is rated IP67, meaning it can withstand up to 30 minutes in 1 metre of fresh water. The Samsung F70 Pro product page consulted does not establish a comparable IP rating. That is an evidence gap, not proof that the F70 Pro has no water resistance. If a documented rating is important, the A35 has the clearer published claim.
Storage expansion is also SKU-dependent. Samsung lists A35 storage options of 128GB and 256GB and microSD support up to 1TB. Its F70 Pro 6GB/128GB page lists microSD support up to 2TB. Verify the capacity and expansion limit for the exact phone being sold in India before purchase.

The listed weights are close: 209g for the A35 and 206g for the F70 Pro. Both are relatively substantial phones, and the three-gram difference is small on paper.
Software support: F70 Pro has the longer published promise
Samsung’s F70 Pro product page promises six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates from the first global launch date. Samsung’s 2024 A35 launch announcement promised up to four Android OS upgrades and five years of security updates. On those published policies, the F70 Pro has the longer support window. Check Samsung’s current regional policy and the relevant support start date when buying, particularly if long-term update coverage is a priority.
Which phone should you choose?
Choose the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G if
- You want the larger of these two listed displays and a higher stated battery capacity.
- The longer announced OS and security support window matters to you.
- You can get the F70 Pro at a lower price after matching RAM and storage, and verifying the exact offer and SKU.
Choose the Galaxy A35 5G if
- You prefer a phone with Samsung’s documented IP67 rating.
- You value its higher published ultrawide and selfie-camera resolutions, while recognising that resolution alone does not prove image quality.
- Its actual sale price is lower than a comparable F70 Pro configuration, or its particular storage and expansion setup suits you better.
Neither specification sheet establishes an overall winner. Make the price comparison at checkout for matching configurations, then weigh the F70 Pro’s stated capacity and support policy against the A35’s documented ingress rating and camera-resolution advantages.
