The Galaxy A35 is worth considering if you prefer Samsung’s 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display or prioritize the higher water-and-dust rating reported for it by a comparison listing. There is no universal price difference: it depends on country, storage, seller and stock.

How to compare the prices fairly
Prices in this comparison are snapshots, not a reliable statement of what either phone costs everywhere today. In an India comparison view captured for this article, 91mobiles showed ₹18,999 for both phones, with the CMF Phone 2 Pro marked out of stock. The same page displayed a different Galaxy A35 price elsewhere, underscoring how quickly listing data can vary. The page does not establish a confirmed storage variant for those figures.
Samsung’s US launch announcement gave the Galaxy A35 a starting launch price of $399.99. That is its historical US launch price, not a current street price, and it should not be compared directly with the India listing snapshot.

For a useful local comparison, check the same storage tier for both phones and compare the final checkout total, including tax and shipping. Check seller identity and whether the device is actually in stock. Current regional prices have not been verified here, so a universal price difference would be misleading.
Which phone makes more sense for your priorities?
Choose the CMF Phone 2 Pro for zoom and a larger display
Its 6.77-inch display is larger than the A35’s 6.6-inch screen, while both manufacturers specify refresh rates up to 120Hz. The CMF also has a dedicated telephoto camera with 2× optical zoom. That gives it a hardware advantage for optical zoom on paper; it does not prove that its photos are better overall. Megapixel counts and lens specifications cannot replace controlled comparisons of image quality.

Nothing lists the CMF at 185g and offers 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB configurations with storage expansion up to 2TB. The phone also has a phone-specific accessory point, with a compatible universal cover, wallet/stand, lanyard and interchangeable lenses. Nothing says a case and pre-applied screen protector are included in the box; check the package for your region before buying.
Consider the Galaxy A35 for Samsung’s display or its reported IP rating
Samsung specifies a 6.6-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a refresh rate up to 120Hz. If you prefer that display or the Samsung device experience, those may matter more to you than the CMF’s larger screen and added telephoto hardware.

The cited comparison listing reports IP67 for the Galaxy A35, compared with Nothing’s IP54 rating for the CMF. Treat that A35 figure as a listing claim unless you verify it against Samsung documentation for the exact regional model. Neither rating means a phone is suitable for beach or pool use; Nothing also cautions that the CMF’s water resistance applies under controlled conditions and can decline with wear or damage.
Weigh update commitments carefully
Nothing states that the CMF Phone 2 Pro receives three years of Android updates and six years of security updates, counted from first availability on nothing.tech. The cited information does not establish the Galaxy A35’s corresponding policy in enough detail for a matched support comparison. Check the terms for the exact model and market before treating support duration as a deciding advantage.

What the specifications do—and do not—tell you
On paper, the CMF stands out for screen size, a dedicated 2× optical-zoom camera and expandable storage; its listed battery capacity is 5,000mAh with 33W wired charging. Those figures do not establish which phone lasts longer in everyday use. There are no independent, like-for-like endurance results here, and manufacturer battery figures should not be treated as a real-world head-to-head test.

Likewise, the camera lists show different rear-camera arrangements: the CMF includes a telephoto camera, while the A35 listing includes a macro camera. They do not show which phone produces better portraits, night photos, video or everyday images. No controlled camera shootout or benchmark comparison is available to support an overall performance verdict.
