How the announced prices compare
In the United States, the A27’s announced starting price is $50 below the A35’s historical launch price. Samsung announced the A35 at $399.99 in 2024 and the A27 at $349.99 in 2026. Because those prices come from different launch dates, they do not show which phone is cheaper to buy now. Current retailer prices, inventory, and deals are not established here.
Samsung’s India launch announcements also list different configurations, so they are not a like-for-like price comparison: the A27 was listed at INR 28,999 for 6GB+128GB, INR 31,999 for 8GB+128GB, and INR 37,499 for 8GB+256GB, with a stated INR 3,000 cashback offer. The A35 announcement listed INR 27,999 for 8GB+128GB and INR 30,999 for 8GB+256GB, with specified bank-cashback conditions. These are historical launch figures, not current street prices. Samsung Korea announced the A35 at KRW 499,400 for its domestic release on June 21, 2024; that does not provide an A27 Korea price for comparison.

Screen size and refresh rate
Both phones have FHD+ Super AMOLED displays with refresh rates up to 120Hz. The A27’s listed diagonal is 6.7 inches, compared with 6.6 inches on the A35. The figures establish a small size difference, not a tested difference in brightness, color accuracy, or outdoor visibility.

Processor and software
Samsung’s cited U.S. A27 specification names a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor and lists Android 16 with One UI 8.5. The cited U.S. A35 announcement lists Android 14 with One UI 6.1 at launch, but does not state its processor in the referenced material. These launch or announcement details do not establish the software currently installed on a particular phone, nor do they substitute for benchmark or real-world performance tests.

Both models list a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS). Their secondary rear cameras differ: the A35 lists an 8MP ultrawide and 5MP macro, while the A27 lists a 5MP ultrawide and 2MP macro. The A35 therefore has the higher-resolution ultrawide on paper. Megapixel counts do not establish actual image quality, and the available specifications do not settle which phone takes better photos.

The listed front-camera resolution is 13MP on the A35 and 12MP on the A27. That difference alone is not evidence of better selfies or video quality.
Updates, durability, and battery
Stated software support
Samsung’s global A27 announcement promises up to six generations of Android OS and One UI upgrades and up to six years of security updates from the initial global launch date. Samsung’s A35 India launch announcement promised up to four generations of Android OS upgrades and five years of security updates. These are manufacturer commitments; “up to” matters, and the A35 statement is regional launch information rather than confirmation of current update status in every market.

Both phones list a typical battery capacity of 5,000mAh; Samsung lists 25W fast charging for the A27 in its U.S. materials. Capacity and charging specifications do not establish battery life, charging time in actual use, or how long either phone lasts under a particular workload.
