The vivo S2 5G lists a larger, higher-resolution AMOLED display and a 7,050 mAh typical-capacity battery; the Samsung Galaxy A27 5G lists optical image stabilisation (OIS) on its 50 MP main camera and adds separate ultra-wide and macro rear cameras. Both are rated for refresh rates up to 120 Hz. Those specifications show what each phone offers on paper, not which has better battery life, photos, gaming performance or overall speed.

Which display is larger and sharper?
vivo lists a 6.83-inch, 2800 × 1260 AMOLED display, compared with Samsung’s 6.7-inch-class, 1080 × 2340 Super AMOLED display. On the listed dimensions and resolution, the vivo panel is both larger and has more pixels. Both manufacturers list refresh rates up to 120 Hz.

Does the vivo S2 have a better battery?
vivo lists a 7,050 mAh typical-capacity battery and 44 W charging. Samsung lists 5,000 mAh typical capacity for the Galaxy A27 5G, but the reviewed Samsung page does not state a charging wattage. Capacity alone cannot predict how long either phone will last: network conditions, screen brightness, software and workload all affect runtime. The listed figures do not replace a controlled battery-life or charging test.
How do the rear cameras differ?
Samsung lists a 50 MP main camera with OIS, plus a 5 MP ultra-wide and a 2 MP macro camera. OIS is a stated hardware feature of the main camera; Samsung’s specification gives the A27 more explicitly identified rear-camera roles.

vivo lists a 50 MP main rear camera and a 2 MP secondary camera. The specifications do not identify that secondary camera as an ultra-wide or macro camera. More cameras or more megapixels do not by themselves prove better photos; a comparable image test would be needed to judge detail, low-light results, color and stabilization in practice.
Which phone suits selfies and video?
vivo lists a 32 MP front camera, while Samsung lists a 12 MP front camera. Samsung specifies UHD 4K recording at 30 fps; vivo says 4K video recording is supported on both the front and rear cameras. Sensor resolution alone does not determine selfie quality, and the listed video capabilities do not establish which phone produces better footage.

Which has the longer stated software support?
Samsung Mobile Press says the Galaxy A27 5G is eligible for up to six generations of Android OS and One UI upgrades and six years of security updates. Samsung India’s product page lists security support validity through 31 July 2032. The “up to” qualification matters: check the applicable terms for the phone sold in your market.
The reviewed vivo materials do not establish a comparable software-update commitment for the S2, so they are not enough to make a like-for-like support-duration comparison.

What is the price difference in India?
A definitive price difference is not established by the reviewed official pages. vivo’s India E-Store displayed ₹42,999 for the S2 8GB+128GB listing on 7 October 2026. Samsung’s reviewed India specification page does not show a price, so there is no comparable Samsung figure from which to calculate a gap.
