Which phone is better?
On the published specifications, the Edge 70 Pro leads in display resolution and refresh rate, battery capacity, charging options and camera-system versatility. Its 3.5x optical periscope telephoto is a distinct hardware capability not listed for the A27. Those advantages do not establish that it takes better photos, lasts longer in a particular person’s use, or runs faster: the cited sources provide no independent head-to-head camera, endurance or benchmark results.

Motorola publishes the higher resolution and refresh rate: 2772 × 1272 and up to 144Hz on a 6.8-inch display, versus Samsung’s 6.7-inch FHD+ panel with up to 120Hz. Motorola’s 5,200-nit peak-brightness figure is a manufacturer claim; it should not be read as a verified brightness level sustained in ordinary outdoor use.

Motorola’s stated typical capacity is 6,500mAh compared with Samsung’s 5,000mAh; their respective rated minimum capacities are 6,300mAh and 4,860mAh. Motorola also advertises up to 90W wired and 15W wireless charging, while Samsung lists 25W wired charging. The Motorola chargers needed for its advertised wired and wireless rates are sold separately. What to check before buying
- Confirm the exact country, model, network bands and available RAM/storage variant; do not assume the U.S., Philippines and U.K. configurations are interchangeable.
- Check the current local price for matched storage tiers, including tax and any promotion’s end date.
- If choosing Motorola for 90W or 15W wireless charging, include the separately sold compatible charger in the cost and verify the local accessory.
