Samsung’s Galaxy A17 5G is listed on Samsung’s US and India stores, but the Nothing Phone (4b) and its reported specifications could not be verified on an official Nothing product page. That means there is no dependable, like-for-like price difference or confirmed specs comparison yet. Treat the Nothing figures below as claims from a third-party comparison, not established product facts.

What the available prices do—and do not—show
Samsung listings are market- and variant-specific
Samsung’s US store lists the unlocked 128GB Galaxy A17 5G at $249.99. That is an observed store listing, not a guaranteed checkout price or a stable manufacturer’s suggested retail price. Samsung US Galaxy A17 5G listing
Samsung India lists a Galaxy A17 5G with 128GB storage and 6GB RAM at ₹26,999. This is a different country and configuration context from the US listing; the two prices are not directly comparable. Samsung India Galaxy A17 5G listing

The reported €329 parity is not an official comparison
MobileData reports a price of €329 for each phone in Spain, with prices checked September 1, 2026. The Nothing Phone (4b) price in that comparison is a secondary-source claim, and the model was not verified by an official Nothing source. It therefore does not establish a reliable same-market price difference.
Before comparing offers, match the country, RAM and storage variant, seller, and date. A US unlocked price, an India configuration price, and a Spain comparison cannot be combined into one meaningful “price difference.”

How to interpret the reported spec advantages
If MobileData’s figures prove accurate, the reported Phone (4b) has a slightly larger, higher-refresh-rate display and a marginally larger battery than the A17 5G. Those differences are not confirmed Nothing specifications, however, and they do not establish real-world advantages such as longer battery life, better brightness, or smoother performance.

A chip name or megapixel count alone does not show how a phone performs in everyday use, how well its cameras handle different conditions, or how long it receives software updates. The available sources do not establish a software-support commitment for either phone in a form suitable for this comparison.

One confirmed purchase detail: the Galaxy A17 5G box has no charger
Samsung’s US store listing says: “Galaxy A17 5G does not include a charger.” The listing describes the package as containing the phone, a data cable, and an ejection pin. If you need a phone you can verify and buy from an official listing, the Galaxy A17 5G is the only one of these two established by the cited manufacturer pages. That is a recommendation based on verifiable availability, not proof that it outperforms a Nothing phone.

First confirm that the exact model is officially announced and available in your country, then compare its local price and matching memory configuration with Samsung’s offer. Until then, a definitive winner or numerical price-difference claim would overstate what is known.
