#1 Best Overall
- Please note, this device does not support E-SIM; This 4G model is compatible with all GSM networks worldwide outside of the U.S. In the US, ONLY compatible with T-Mobile and their MVNO's (Metro and Standup). It will NOT work with other CDMA carriers, and it is also not compatible with their MVNO (Visible, Xfinity Mobile, US Mobile, Cricket Wireless, etc).
- Compatibility with certain third-party devices and accessibility accessories, including some hearing aids, may vary depending on manufacturer support, Bluetooth protocols, software compatibility, and regional firmware limitations. For additional hearing aid compatibility information, please refer to Samsung’s official support documentation.
- Camera: 50 MP, f/1.8, (wide), 1/2.76", 0.64µm, AF | 50 MP, f/1.8, (wide), 1/2.76", 0.64µm, AF | 2 MP, f/2.4, (macro). Battery: 5000 mAh, non-removable | A power adapter is NOT included.
Display and processor
The Galaxy A08 is listed with a 6.7-inch HD+ PLS LCD panel and a 90Hz refresh rate, driven by MediaTek’s Helio G99+. A 90Hz panel can refresh more frequently than a standard 60Hz display, but the listed refresh rate alone does not establish real-world smoothness across every app or task. Launch specifications do not provide independent performance testing.
What the 50MP camera specification tells you
The rear setup pairs a 50MP main camera with a 2MP depth camera, while the front camera is 8MP. Megapixels describe sensor resolution; they do not by themselves establish image quality, especially in low light. The launch reports reviewed do not supply independent camera samples or testing, so there is not enough evidence to call the A08 a camera winner.

Battery capacity, charging and storage
Samsung lists a 6,000mAh battery and support for 25W charging. Battery capacity is not a runtime measurement: no independent endurance test was identified in the launch coverage, so actual time between charges will depend on use and conditions. Confirm the India package contents with the seller before assuming a charger is included.
The reported Indian model has 64GB onboard storage and supports microSD expansion up to 2TB. Check the device and card documentation for compatibility before buying a card; the stated maximum does not mean a card is included.

This is a manufacturer commitment, not a record of updates already delivered; the exact release timing of future updates is not established by the launch reports. Does the Galaxy A08 support 5G?
The launch sources used here identify 4G/LTE coverage, not 5G support. They are not sufficient to confirm a 5G-capable India SKU. Check Samsung’s India listing or the precise model number on the seller page before buying if 5G is essential.
