Which has the longer stated software-support policy?
Google says the Pixel 10a receives seven years of OS, security, and Pixel Drop updates, counted from its first availability in the US Google Store. Samsung says the A37 and A57 receive up to six generations of Android and One UI upgrades, plus up to six years of security updates. Samsung’s “generations” and Google’s time-based commitment are stated in different ways, so they should not be treated as identical measures.
If keeping a phone supported for as long as possible is a priority, compare the policy wording and its starting point, then check the current terms for the exact model and region. What should you know about charging and durability?
Charging
Google says the Pixel 10a supports up to 30W wired charging when used with Google’s 45W USB-C charger, which is sold separately. Samsung’s US announcement says the A57 can charge to around 60% in about 30 minutes, with the charger sold separately; check regional and device-specific support details. These manufacturer statements are not directly comparable charging tests, and they do not establish real-world battery endurance.

Water and drop protection
Google lists IP68 for the Pixel 10a and warns that water resistance can diminish over time; it does not describe the phone as drop-proof. Samsung also lists IP68 for the A37 and A57. An IP rating is not a promise that a phone is waterproof or protected from drops.
