The two 2025 models at a glance
These are not identical size ranges. Samsung’s US 2025 LS03FA starts at 43 inches, while Hisense’s US 2025 S7 series starts at 55 inches. The practical overlap is therefore 55 and 65 inches; a buyer seeking a smaller art TV has only the Samsung option among these cited lineups.

Start with the room: size and viewing distance
When Samsung’s 43-inch option changes the decision
Samsung lists a 43-inch LS03FA, followed by 50, 55 and 65-inch versions. That matters in a bedroom, office, apartment or narrow wall where a 55-inch panel would dominate the space. It also lets you match the display more closely to an existing frame opening or furniture width.
Hisense’s cited 2025 S7 sheet begins at 55 inches and runs through 65, 75 and 85 inches. If your wall can accommodate a large screen, the 75- and 85-inch choices provide sizes Samsung’s cited LS03FA lineup does not list. Do not assume that a different regional CanvasTV range is identical; verify the local product page and model suffix.
The overlap is 55 and 65 inches
For a fair comparison, compare the same diagonal size and the same model year. A 55-inch Samsung against a 65-inch Hisense is primarily a screen-size decision, not a technology verdict. Measure the wall, account for the frame and mount, and consider how far viewers sit before evaluating price or picture features.
Model-year labels matter
The evidence here is anchored to Samsung LS03FA and Hisense S7 information for 2025. Hisense also published a July 18, 2024 launch announcement, but that release-era note should not replace the current 2025 specification sheet for features or pricing. Listings can combine older and newer stock, so read the full model code rather than relying on a retailer title that says only “CanvasTV” or “The Frame.”
Art mode and catalog costs are different propositions
Samsung: larger catalog with named collections
Samsung says its Art Store contains more than 3,000 works from over 1,000 artists. Its 2025 announcement specifically names exclusive collections from the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) and Art Basel. Those figures describe the breadth Samsung advertises, not a guarantee that every work is available in every country or under identical terms.

The important buying question is the ongoing cost and access model for the exact television and region. Confirm whether the pieces you want require a subscription or another paid arrangement, and check the current terms on Samsung’s The Frame art and features page before purchase. The cited material does not establish a complete comparison of personal uploads, storage limits or curation controls, so do not infer those capabilities from the headline artwork count.
Hisense: a stated free selection
Hisense’s 2025 S7 specification sheet advertises more than 1,000 free masterpieces in Art Mode with no subscription required. That is a meaningful advantage for buyers who want an art display without a recurring catalog fee. “Free” refers to the manufacturer’s stated Art Mode offering; it does not establish the size of any separate premium catalog, the availability of every image in your country or the tools available for your own photographs.

Samsung’s figure is a total Art Store collection tied to a service ecosystem, while Hisense’s figure is a free Art Mode selection. Different licensing, refresh schedules, image formats and access rules may sit behind those descriptions. Treat them as two different value propositions: breadth and named institutional collections on one side, versus a stated no-subscription library on the other.
What comes in the box and what you may still need
Hisense lists a teak frame and UltraSlim wall mount
The 2025 S7 specification sheet lists a teak frame and an UltraSlim wall mount as included. That can reduce the number of separate purchases for a wall-mounted installation, especially if teak suits your room. Confirm the contents of the exact regional SKU and retailer box before assuming every size has the same accessories; bundles can change.
Do not assume Samsung’s accessory package
The Samsung sources used here do not settle the complete included-accessory contents across every LS03FA size and listing. Before checkout, verify whether the bezel, stand, cable-management parts and wall-mount hardware you want are included with your specific 43-, 50-, 55- or 65-inch package. If a seller offers a bundle, compare its model code and contents with Samsung’s official 55-inch LS03FA product listing rather than relying on a generic stock image.

With a minimal gap between the TV and the wall, it blends seamlessly with your art collection and paintings. Plus, it keeps the design uncluttered since there’s just one sleek cable connected to it
When a different mount is necessary
A supplied mount is useful only if it suits your wall and installation plan. If you substitute a low-profile mount, check the television’s VESA pattern, the mount’s load rating and the wall construction. Use appropriate anchors for masonry, studs or another approved structure, and leave enough clearance for power and signal cables. A mount that is technically compatible can still be unsuitable if it prevents ventilation or makes service access impossible.

Smart-TV platform: choose the controls you will actually use
Hisense names Google TV and Google Cast
Hisense identifies Google TV and Google Cast in the 2025 S7 specifications. That makes the CanvasTV a logical candidate for households already organized around Google accounts, Cast-enabled phones and Google TV navigation.
Verify Samsung app requirements independently
The cited Samsung material does not provide a fully comparable, current app list, interface assessment or update-policy comparison. If a particular streaming app, voice assistant, casting method or smart-home integration is essential, check the app store and support documentation for the exact regional LS03FA model. Do the same for Hisense: platform branding does not guarantee identical apps or features in every country.
Smart-TV features should not decide the art question alone
Both televisions are intended to function as ordinary TVs as well as art displays, but the evidence supplied here does not establish a controlled head-to-head test of menus, processing, update longevity or remote ergonomics. Make a short list of must-have apps and controls, then confirm each one for your region before paying.
Picture quality, glare and the limits of the available evidence
Matte-oriented art features are not the same as “glare-free”
The reviewed product descriptions emphasize art-display behavior and reduced-reflection-oriented surfaces, but they do not provide a controlled, same-room measurement showing that one model handles reflections better than the other. Room lighting, window placement, lamp angles and the image being displayed can change the result.

- SLIM FIT WALL MOUNT INCLUDED: The Frame looks like art for many reasons. When mounted flush against the wall, the gap between the TV and the wall is minimal, creating the illusion of a genuine piece of art.
Inspect both televisions in lighting similar to your home if possible. A bright window directly opposite the screen is a harder test than a dim showroom. Look for your own reflection, lamp hotspots and whether dark artwork loses depth. Do not turn marketing language such as “anti-glare” into a promise of a reflection-free screen.
Hisense’s 144 Hz figure needs context
Hisense lists a 144 Hz native refresh rate for the 2025 S7. That is a specification, not a complete picture-quality verdict. It does not by itself establish superior movie motion, gaming latency, upscaling, black levels or art reproduction. The cited Samsung material does not provide a directly comparable refresh-rate figure for the LS03FA, so a table-based winner cannot be declared from this number alone.
Independent comparisons are generation-specific
A 2026 Samsung-versus-Hisense comparison is available from RTINGS, but the detailed public material consulted for this article did not provide enough accessible test detail to support a decisive claim about the 2025 models discussed here. Do not use a 2026 result as if it were a laboratory verdict on LS03FA versus S7.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Price and total cost: compare on the same day
Samsung’s observed price is a dated listing, not an MSRP
Samsung’s US product page displayed $1,299.99 for the 55-inch 2025 LS03FA when accessed on October 13, 2026. That is a volatile listing price, not a permanent MSRP or a guaranteed sale price. Check the live listing immediately before purchase and confirm whether shipping, tax, a bezel or a mount changes the total.
No matching official Hisense price was established
The cited Hisense material establishes the S7 specifications but does not provide a comparable current official US price. Use a same-size, same-day retailer check for the 55-inch or 65-inch CanvasTV, and record whether the quoted package includes the teak frame and UltraSlim mount.
Include recurring art costs in the comparison
For Samsung, investigate the current Art Store access terms for your market. For Hisense, the specification sheet says the listed 1,000-plus Art Mode masterpieces require no subscription. Add any optional premium-art fee, replacement frame, alternate mount, delivery charge and installation cost to the television price. Comparing only the panel price can reverse the apparent value.
Which one should you choose?
Choose Samsung The Frame LS03FA when:
- You need a 43-inch or 50-inch option, or you prefer Samsung’s available size progression.
- You value the advertised Art Store breadth of 3,000-plus works and the named MoMA and Art Basel collections.
- You are comfortable checking the current art-service terms and any recurring cost.
- Your preferred apps and smart-home controls are confirmed for the exact regional LS03FA.
Choose Hisense S7 CanvasTV when:
- A 55-inch-or-larger screen fits your viewing distance and wall.
- Google TV and Google Cast match the way your household watches and casts content.
- You want the manufacturer’s stated 1,000-plus free Art Mode masterpieces without a subscription.
- The listed teak frame and UltraSlim wall mount fit your décor and installation plan.
- You value a 75- or 85-inch option that is not listed for Samsung’s cited 2025 LS03FA lineup.
Pause and compare both when:
- You are deciding between 55 and 65 inches rather than between brands.
- Reflections are your main concern; neither cited source supplies a controlled head-to-head glare result.
- You need a specific app, casting protocol or update commitment that the product pages do not clearly document.
- The seller’s model year, accessories or regional suffix is unclear.
A practical buying checklist
- Write down the exact model code. For Samsung, look for LS03FA and the correct size. For Hisense, confirm the S7 series, size and regional suffix.
- Measure the installation area. Confirm the screen, frame and cable path fit the wall, stand or furniture.
- Set a viewing-distance target. Compare equal diagonals first; do not let a cheaper larger panel create an accidental size mismatch.
- Inspect the art terms. Check Samsung’s current Art Store access and fees. Confirm what Hisense’s free Art Mode includes in your market.
- Verify the box contents. Ask the seller to confirm the frame, bezel, stand, mount and cables for the exact SKU. Hisense’s cited S7 sheet lists a teak frame and UltraSlim mount; Samsung’s complete contents are not established across every size in the cited sources.
- Confirm must-have apps. Check the regional app store, casting support and voice controls rather than relying on a platform name alone.
- Test your lighting conditions. Look at the screen with windows and lamps arranged as they are at home. Anti-glare language is not a guarantee of no reflections.
- Capture the price and date. Record the same-size price, delivery, tax, installation and any art subscription on the day you compare.
- Check the return policy. An art TV can look different once installed opposite a window; make sure the seller’s return rules cover opened, mounted televisions.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Comparing a 2026 review with a 2025 model as if generations were identical. Features and processing can change even when the product name remains familiar.
- Treating catalog counts as interchangeable. Samsung’s 3,000-plus Art Store works and Hisense’s 1,000-plus free masterpieces describe different access models.
- Assuming every regional bundle is the same. Frame colors, mounts, stands, firmware and included cables can vary by SKU and seller.
- Using 144 Hz as a complete quality score. Refresh rate does not measure art reproduction, reflection handling or all motion behavior.
- Buying a generic mount without checking compatibility. Confirm VESA fit, load rating, wall structure and cable clearance.
- Choosing by brand reputation instead of room constraints. The 43-inch Samsung option or the 75/85-inch Hisense options may settle the decision before any feature comparison.
Bottom line
For a smaller room or a buyer who specifically wants Samsung’s Art Store ecosystem and named institutional collections, the 2025 LS03FA is the more natural fit. For a 55-inch-or-larger installation where Google TV, a stated no-subscription art selection, teak framing and an included UltraSlim mount matter, the 2025 Hisense S7 CanvasTV deserves the shortlist. Compare equal sizes, verify the exact regional package and check live prices and art terms before choosing; the available evidence does not justify naming one universal winner.
