What is the difference between the Galaxy Book4 Pro and Pro 360?
The Galaxy Book4 Pro is a conventional clamshell offered with a 14-inch or 16-inch display, with a U.S. launch price starting at $1,449.99. The Galaxy Book4 Pro 360 is a 16-inch convertible that can fold through a 360-degree hinge, and started at $1,899.99 at launch. Both are in Samsung’s Intel Core Ultra Pro tier. Choose the Pro if a standard laptop form is what you want; choose the Pro 360 if the convertible form factor matters to you. The launch information does not provide enough detail to compare specific configurations or performance between individual units.
Which Galaxy Book4 model should you choose?
- For graphics-intensive or creative workloads: The Galaxy Book4 Ultra is the only model in this lineup for which Samsung specifically named an NVIDIA GeForce RTX laptop GPU, alongside its Intel Core Ultra processor. Samsung positioned the RTX graphics for demanding graphics work and AI-accelerated creative workloads.
- For a Core Ultra clamshell without the Ultra tier: Consider the Galaxy Book4 Pro. It has 14-inch and 16-inch size options and was listed for sale through Amazon.com and Costco as well as Samsung.com and Best Buy at launch.
- For a convertible Core Ultra laptop: The 16-inch Galaxy Book4 Pro 360 combines the Pro tier with a 360-degree hinge.
- For a lower launch starting price: The Galaxy Book4 360 was the least expensive convertible in the announced group at $1,349.99, while the standard 15-inch Galaxy Book4 had the lowest starting price overall at $899. Samsung’s announcement did not specify their processor tiers, so the launch information alone does not support a direct performance comparison with the Pro models.
What Galaxy ecosystem features did Samsung highlight?
Samsung presented the series as combining interactive displays, connectivity with Galaxy devices and security features. It also described Second Screen support, which lets a compatible Galaxy Tab serve as an additional monitor. Samsung did not specify a full list of compatible tablets or requirements in the U.S. launch details, so check device compatibility before relying on that feature.

What Samsung reported about early sales—and what it means
Samsung reported that Galaxy Book4 sales in Korea during the first week were 1.5 times Galaxy Book3 sales. That is Samsung’s own launch-period sales report, not an independently audited market-share result, and it describes Korea rather than U.S. demand.
Was there a Galaxy Book4 launch promotion?
Samsung documented a limited-time offer that ran February 26 through April 1, 2024: qualifying Galaxy Book4 purchases made on Samsung.com or the Samsung Shop App received a Portable SSD T7 Shield with 2TB of storage. That was a historical launch promotion, not evidence of an offer available now.
