To turn up alarm volume on a Samsung Galaxy, open the Clock app, go to Alarm, tap the alarm, then open Alarm sound. Raise the volume slider and save. In One UI 7, first check whether alarms use one shared volume or separate volumes for each alarm—the setting determines which slider you can adjust.
Raise the volume for one alarm

Open the Samsung Clock app and select the Alarm tab.

Tap the alarm you want to change.

Tap Alarm sound, then drag the volume slider higher.

Save the alarm. Samsung describes this slider as the control for setting alarm volume in its Galaxy alarm setup instructions.

Choose shared or separate alarm volume in One UI 7
One UI 7 lets you choose whether every alarm uses the same volume or each alarm has its own. The active choice changes where the adjustable slider appears.

In Clock, tap More options (the three dots), then Settings and Volume.

Choose the shared-volume option for one consistent volume across alarms, or the separate-volume option to give alarms different levels.

One volume for all alarms
Adjust the slider in Clock > More options > Settings > Volume. When shared volume is selected, the volume slider in an individual alarm is locked.

A different volume for each alarm
Return to the alarm list and open an alarm, or create one. Choose Alarm sound, adjust its slider, and save. Repeat for any other alarm whose volume you want to change. Samsung’s One UI 7 instructions document both volume options.
If an alarm is silent when system sound is off
Check Clock settings for Silence alarms when system sound is off. Samsung documents this option as a reason an alarm may be silenced when the phone’s system sound is off. If the setting is enabled, change it if you want alarms to sound in that situation. This is one documented cause, not a complete diagnosis of every quiet or silent alarm.

When the menus do not match
Samsung notes that Clock screens and steps can differ by One UI and app version. The shared-versus-separate volume instructions above apply specifically to One UI 7. If your menus differ, use the labels and controls shown in the Clock app on your device; Samsung’s Galaxy alarm guidance also notes that screens may vary by software version.
