The Australian RYOBI 18V ONE+ HP Brushless Pet Stick Vacuum with Dual Roller 2 x 4Ah Kit (model R18XSV9PET142BLK2) is a two-battery bundle with powered floor and pet-hair tools. RYOBI lists up to 20 kPa suction and up to 110 minutes of runtime, but those are manufacturer claims—not independently verified results in the accessible evidence. The key buying questions are whether the included tools suit your home and whether the limited public performance evidence is enough for you.

| Specification | Published figure | What it establishes |
|---|---|---|
| Suction | Up to 20 kPa | RYOBI’s stated maximum; not an independent measurement. |
| Air watts | 90 air watts | Manufacturer-listed figure; test conditions are not provided in the accessible product information. |
| Airflow | 900 L/min | Manufacturer-listed figure; it does not by itself show pickup performance on a particular floor. |
| Dust capacity | 800 mL on RYOBI’s page | CHOICE records 0.6 L; the published sources do not resolve the difference. |
| Runtime | Up to 110 minutes with two included 4Ah batteries | RYOBI’s maximum claim; the page does not specify the settings or test conditions behind it. |
RYOBI’s page describes a plush microfibre front roller and a rear bristle roller, as well as a separate powered pet beater bar intended for pet hair on hard floors and carpet. The company says the brush bar reduces hair wrap. These descriptions explain the design and intended use; they do not establish real-world pickup, hair-wrap resistance, edge cleaning, dust containment, noise, emptying ease or runtime under a specified workload.
How much evidence is available on cleaning performance?
CHOICE’s public product record lists the vacuum and identifies Adrian Lini as its tester. CHOICE describes its home-appliance testing as a hands-on lab approach, but the Expert Rating and pickup results for this model are restricted to members. The public listing therefore does not establish a score, ranking or endorsement.

CHOICE records two speed settings, an 18V lithium-ion battery, a 4.12 kg weight, a 0.6 L dust capacity and an A$599 price. Those entries should not be silently combined with RYOBI’s different capacity figure or conflicting weight information: RYOBI’s page renderings list tool-only weight as both 3 kg and 1.6 kg. The available information does not clarify the definitions or resolve these discrepancies.
Does the kit suit your floors and household?
The powered dual roller head and separate mini powered brush give the kit attachments intended for different floor types and pet-hair tasks. RYOBI presents it for hard floors, rugs, tiles, carpet and upholstery. That makes the package broad in stated use, but the available public evidence does not show how effectively it cleans any of those surfaces.

- Consider it if you want a stick vacuum supplied with two batteries, a powered dual roller head, a mini powered brush and a spare washable filter.
- Check more closely if you need proven pet-hair pickup, low hair wrap, a specific runtime on high power, or a verified weight for carrying and overhead use; those outcomes are not established by the accessible product information.
- Compare before choosing if pickup performance or value is decisive. Use independent results for the same floor types and comparable configurations, and check runtime with the powered head, weight in the configuration you lift, dust capacity, included tools, local price and warranty remedies.
What does it cost, and what warranty applies?
RYOBI Australia’s product page displays A$599 and dates that price information to 2 June 2025. CHOICE also records A$599, but neither figure confirms today’s retail price or stock. Check a current Australian retailer listing before buying and make sure it is for the two-battery model.
RYOBI Australia describes a four-year standard replacement warranty for 18V tools, extendable to six years if registered within 30 days. The 18V lithium batteries have a separate three-year warranty. The page states that the coverage is replacement-only and that repair services and spare parts are unavailable for these products. These are Australian terms; buyers elsewhere should check the warranty applicable in their location.

Is it a good fit for existing ONE+ owners?
RYOBI says its 18V ONE+ batteries work with more than 200 tools. That ecosystem may make the kit more useful to someone who already owns compatible batteries and tools, but this bundle already includes two 4Ah batteries and a charger. Verify compatibility for the particular tool and market rather than assuming every battery or product version is interchangeable.
RYOBI’s product information has inconsistent manual availability: one rendering identifies a manual published 11 October 2024, while another says no manuals are available. Confirm that a working official manual is available for the exact model before relying on it for setup or maintenance instructions.
