How the air-fry mode is intended to work
Russell Hobbs describes air frying as fan-circulated heat, with air moving from above and below the food. The adjustable thermostat is listed as reaching 260°C. That high stated maximum gives flexibility in the manufacturer’s specification, but a temperature range alone cannot show how accurately the cooker holds a setting or whether food browns evenly.
The 5.5-litre figure is the volume of the cooking pot, not a promise that a particular quantity of chips, vegetables or chicken will crisp well in one batch. What the extra cooking modes add
Beyond air fry, Russell Hobbs lists grill, sear, slow cook, roast, bake and keep warm. That range could make the appliance more useful if you want one device for several kinds of cooking or are trying to reduce the number of appliances on your counter. Cleaning and included parts
The cooking pot and grill plate are removable and described as dishwasher safe on Russell Hobbs’ product pages. The UK and Europe materials also refer to a 100-cycle test for the coating or parts. That is a manufacturer statement, not evidence here of long-term durability under every dishwasher, detergent or use pattern.
The two listed parts are the pot and grill plate. The product pages reviewed do not confirm whether replacement parts are available separately, so check with the manufacturer or seller if spare-part availability matters to you.

Russell Hobbs advertises the SatisFry as up to 70% faster than previous Russell Hobbs models and up to 76% faster than conventional oven-cooked food on its Europe page. Its UK listing claims up to 44% less energy than a conventional oven and describes a comparison basis. These are manufacturer comparisons, not independent results for this review.
