The Russell Hobbs RHAF15 Brooklyn is a 5.7L drawer-style air fryer with seven food presets, manual controls and a maximum selectable temperature of 200°C. Its published specifications make it a feature-rich single-basket option, but the available public evidence does not establish how well it cooks: Russell Hobbs’ speed and energy figures are narrow, manufacturer-reported comparisons, while CHOICE keeps its performance results behind member access. That makes this a feature-led review, not a firsthand or independently scored verdict.
What the RHAF15 offers
The RHAF15 is the model number for Russell Hobbs’ Brooklyn 5.7L Air Fryer. The manufacturer’s instructions describe a digital touchscreen, a removable crisping plate and seven automatic cooking settings, alongside a manual mode. Russell Hobbs says the crisping plate is dishwasher-safe. The appliance is a drawer-style, single-basket model rather than an oven-style unit.

The manufacturer lists a 5.7L capacity. CHOICE’s listing also gives 5.7L as the claimed capacity, but says it did not measure the basket size. Capacity alone therefore does not show how much food can sit in a single layer or how well a particular meal will fit.

The seven presets are Fries, Chops, Prawns, Bake, Chicken, Steak and Fish. The manual gives default time and temperature settings for each, but says preset values can be adjusted. Manual mode begins at 15 minutes and 200°C, with time and temperature adjustable through the controls.

These are the appliance’s documented starting points, not guaranteed cooking results or food-safety instructions. The manual’s defaults are useful for quick setup, but the ability to change time and temperature matters when food thickness, quantity or personal preference differs from a preset.
Size, temperature and power specifications
CHOICE’s product listing gives the RHAF15 dimensions as 33 × 28 × 36 cm and its weight as 5 kg. These are published listing specifications, not measurements made for this review. CHOICE describes the cooking pan or bowl as non-stick and lists the appliance’s temperature range as 80–200°C and claimed power as 1350–1650 W; the publication date for those listing details is not shown.

Russell Hobbs’ product material specifies a maximum selectable temperature of 200°C. The figures from the two sources describe different things: Russell Hobbs gives the maximum, while CHOICE lists a full range. Check available counter space against the external dimensions, and leave room to open and use the drawer; the published dimensions do not tell you the clearance needed in a particular kitchen.
What the performance claims do—and do not—show
Russell Hobbs’ 2023 product booklet claims that the RHAF15 cooks 400g of frozen fries up to 80% faster than the George Foreman GFAF5000. The claim applies to that quantity, food and named comparison; it does not establish that the fryer is faster for other ingredients, batch sizes or cooking methods. The booklet does not provide enough information to independently reproduce the comparison.

The same booklet claims up to 50% energy savings versus a standard built-in electric oven when cooking frozen fries at 200°C. This is likewise a specific manufacturer comparison, not a general energy-saving rate for all meals or ovens.
CHOICE’s RHAF15 listing includes categories for cooking performance, frozen chips, chicken wings, crumbed chicken, roast pork, ease of use, cleaning, controls, price and running cost. The results are marked members-only on the listing, so the categories themselves do not reveal whether the RHAF15 performed well or poorly. No public independent performance score is available from that page.

Is the Russell Hobbs RHAF15 worth buying?
The RHAF15 is worth considering if you want a drawer-style air fryer with a 5.7L stated capacity, adjustable presets and a removable dishwasher-safe crisping plate. Its broad preset selection and manual mode offer flexibility on paper. However, the available evidence does not establish cooking consistency, ease of cleaning in practice, durability or comparative test performance. Those are important factors that the published feature list and manufacturer claims cannot settle.
