Which PS3 games are now fully playable on PC?
Notebookcheck reported the additions on September 14, 2026, with an update on September 17. The changes concern emulator-level fixes rather than new PC ports. RPCS3’s list tracks 3,559 PS3 titles; GamesRadar reported in July 2026 that 2,681 were already classed as Playable. That overall milestone is separate from the three title-specific fixes announced in September.

Stuntman Ignition: crash and memory handling
Developer Yahfz addressed crashes by optimizing sysutilModule and improving shared-memory handling. RPCS3 described the result as the game being “finally fully fixed,” and the report says the emulator considers RPCS3 the best way to play this title after the update. The practical effect is a shift from failures that could stop a session to a completion-capable experience under the emulator’s Playable criteria.

Lead Graphics Developer kd-11 repaired the collection’s refracting effects with what RPCS3 called “a massive RSX blending emulation rework supported by many hardware tests.” RSX is the graphics processor used by the PS3, so this was an emulation correction rather than a change to the game’s original assets. The collection contains remastered versions of the first three games and appeared on PS3 in 2012 before a PS Vita release in 2013.

LittleBigPlanet Karting: lighting
The same RSX blending work fixed broken lighting in LittleBigPlanet Karting. Once those rendering defects no longer prevented normal play, RPCS3 moved the title to Fully Playable. The shared fix matters because graphics-accuracy problems can be just as disruptive as crashes even when an emulator launches the game successfully.
What does RPCS3 “Playable” mean?
Playable is a defined compatibility status, not a guarantee that every computer will deliver identical frame rates. RPCS3 uses the label for games that can be completed with playable performance and without game-breaking glitches. A title can therefore still have minor visual issues, hardware-dependent performance differences, or configuration requirements while remaining in the Playable category.

The September additions should also be distinguished from the broader July figure of 2,681 Playable games out of 3,559 tracked titles. That percentage describes the catalogue at that time; it does not mean all three September fixes came from one RPG or from a single update to every game.

Yes, but physical-disc use requires a supported Blu-ray drive. The compatibility report does not name supported drive models, so buyers should verify drive support in RPCS3’s current documentation before purchasing hardware. A disc alone is not a substitute for the emulator’s required game data and setup, and the report does not establish that every Blu-ray drive can read PS3 discs for this purpose.

What the RPG claim gets wrong
The supplied September coverage names Stuntman Ignition, the Jak and Daxter Collection and LittleBigPlanet Karting. None is identified there as a PS3-exclusive RPG. The Jak and Daxter Collection is an action-platformer collection, while the other two are driving-focused games. Until RPCS3 or a primary report names a specific RPG, it is more accurate to describe this milestone as three newly Playable PS3 titles rather than a solved PS3-exclusive role-playing game.
