The Galaxies Autumn 2026 Showcase, held on October 15, put more than 50 games in the spotlight through premieres, updates, demos and release-date announcements. Xbox Series X|S featured heavily, but the lineup also covered PC, PlayStation 5 and Switch 2. Three games were reported playable immediately, while others are scheduled for late 2026, 2027 or have no firm date yet.

What the showcase means for Xbox players
Xbox Series X|S is the common platform, not the only one
Series X|S appears across horror, action, simulation, shooters and co-op games, but platform rights differ title by title. Some releases also come to PS5 and PC, while Arizona Sunshine, SOMBRAS, Ancestors and other projects add Switch 2 versions. Do not assume that an Xbox announcement means Xbox One support: the only explicit Xbox One detail in this group is the free-upgrade path for existing Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey owners.

Release timing is unusually uneven
Players looking for something immediate can start with Hellraiser, Belmont’s Curse or Deep Dish Dungeon. The next fixed dates are Planted! on October 29, SOMBRAS: negative frames on December 3, and both Ancestors and Guns of Eschaton on December 8. Elta follows on February 2, 2027, while SPINE is planned for 2027. Several other announcements have only a year or no date, so wish-listing them should not be treated as a firm launch commitment.

- Survival and exploration: Arizona Sunshine, After Zero, Ancestors and Deep Dish Dungeon.

Known trial options are the PS5 demo for SOMBRAS: negative frames and the Xbox Series X|S demo for Elta: Defy All Gods. Deep Dish Dungeon is the only game in this roundup explicitly identified as being on Xbox Game Pass. For every other title, the showcase information does not establish subscription availability.

Why these reveals stood out
The presentation’s range was broader than a conventional Xbox-only software update: licensed horror, a new take on a VR zombie property, tactical multiplayer, a food-driven dungeon crawler, train simulation and a gardening sports game all appeared in the same event. The result is a release slate where platform, date and multiplayer support matter as much as genre when deciding what to follow.
