Choose Roku Select if you want Roku TV built into the set; consider a documented TCL Q6 model if Dolby Vision support matters to you. Start with the exact model
“Roku Select Series 4K” and “TCL Q6” are product families, not single televisions. Specifications can vary by size, model suffix, year, and market, so a feature listed for one version should not automatically be applied to another.

What matters most when choosing
Choose Roku Select for the Roku TV platform
If you want Roku TV built into the television, Select is the direct fit among these choices. Match the exact Select size and model to your picture and connection needs; the 43-inch model, for example, is listed as LED rather than QLED.

Consider TCL Q6 for its listed HDR formats
The cited 55-inch Q6 models list Dolby Vision in addition to HDR10+, HDR10, and HLG. That is a broader set of listed formats than the Roku Select page’s HDR10+ and HLG. Format support alone does not establish which set delivers better HDR picture quality in practice.
Read gaming claims as separate from native panel refresh
For the cited 55-inch Q6 models, TCL lists a 60 Hz panel while advertising Game Accelerator 120 and VRR features. Those feature labels do not make the cited panels native 120 Hz televisions. Roku’s family comparison also lists 60 Hz. If refresh performance is decisive, verify the exact model’s panel specification rather than relying on gaming-feature branding.

The cited TCL 55-inch versions list three HDMI inputs, with one eARC; Roku lists HDMI with eARC and USB, with I/O varying by model or size. Count the devices you need to connect, including a console and soundbar. For wall mounting, compare the exact TV’s VESA pattern and weight with the mount’s supported dimensions and capacity.

These specifications do not establish a universal picture-quality winner. The manufacturer pages cited here do not provide a matched independent measurement set for the exact models that would support a comparison of brightness, contrast, motion, input lag, or viewing angles. Treat the feature lists as a way to narrow choices, not as proof of overall image performance.
