Roku’s instructions describe changing the email in Account information, while its purchase-history page tells you to sign in to review invoices. Its support pages do not explicitly promise that history is retained after an email change, so verify your records after saving the update.
Change the email on your existing Roku account
Roku’s email-change process updates the information on the account. Sign in, open Account information, enter the new email address and your current password, then save. Roku’s instructions say you must enter your current password to confirm the change. See Roku’s email and password instructions.

If you no longer have access to the account email, Roku directs you to contact support rather than treating a new account as an email update.

Check purchase history after the change
- Sign in to your Roku account at my.roku.com.
- Open Purchase history and invoices.
- Review the invoices for the content or Roku products you expect to see.
Roku says purchases of streaming players, soundbars, and other devices bought from roku.com appear in account purchase history. The history page also supports reviewing invoices and spending trends. See Roku’s purchase-history and charges guidance.

If expected purchases or charges are missing
Confirm the account linked to the Roku device
A different Roku account may use a different email address. On the Roku device, go to Settings > System > About and check the email linked to it. Then sign in with that account and review its purchase history. Roku explains this check in its guidance on charges you do not recognize.
Check where the subscription was billed
Subscriptions purchased directly from a streaming provider do not appear in Roku purchase history. Check the provider’s own account or billing records for those subscriptions. Transactions billed through Roku are reflected in Roku account or billing records; Roku’s purchase-history guidance explains which records are available there.
