The ASUS ROG Falchion Ace 75 HE is a wired 75% gaming keyboard built around adjustable Hall-effect switches and Rapid Trigger. Its strongest case is for players who want fine-grained input tuning and physical onboard controls; its clearest trade-off is that it has no wireless mode. Consider it if those features matter more to you than cable-free use and a lower price.
What the ROG Falchion Ace 75 HE offers
ASUS positions the Falchion Ace 75 HE as a compact 75% keyboard: it keeps a more complete key layout than smaller boards while taking up less desk space than a full-size keyboard. Its defining feature is a set of magnetic Hall-effect switches paired with adjustable actuation and Rapid Trigger, rather than a conventional fixed-contact switch design. ASUS lists HFX V2 and V2X switch variants, a ROG Hall Sensor, an 8000 Hz polling rate, six-layer dampening, three tilt angles, doubleshot PBT keycaps, and a protective carry case. Features and bundled configurations can vary by region, so confirm the exact listing before buying. ASUS product specifications

How the Hall-effect switches and Rapid Trigger work for gaming
Hall-effect switches detect key movement magnetically, which allows the keyboard to track actuation and reset positions rather than relying on a single fixed trigger point. The Falchion Ace 75 HE lets users adjust actuation and reset behavior, with Rapid Trigger intended to re-arm a key as it moves back upward instead of waiting for a fixed reset point. That can be useful for games where repeated, quick inputs matter, but the feature is not a guarantee of better performance: its value depends on the game, the player’s settings, and whether the more sensitive behavior feels controllable.
PC Gamer’s review, published March 24, 2026, reports HFX V2 travel of 3.5 mm, compared with 4 mm for the prior V1, and actuation force of 32 g versus 40 g. It also reports that actuation and reset points can be configured in 0.01 mm increments. These are review-reported specifications, not independently verified lab measurements in the available material. PC Gamer review

Hot-swapping is useful, but compatibility is limited
ASUS says the keyboard’s magnetic switches are hot-swappable within its ROG HE platform. The company’s compatibility description applies to supported ROG HE keyboards and their shared socket; it does not establish compatibility with arbitrary third-party Hall-effect switches. If replacing switches is part of your buying plan, verify that the specific switch is supported and actually available for purchase. ASUS’s product page describes the platform and socket. Physical controls and software setup
The board includes a sensitivity adjustment wheel and an interactive touch panel. ASUS’s Singapore store listing says the wheel can fine-tune actuation and Rapid Trigger sensitivity, while the touch panel can control media playback, volume, and settings. Tom’s Hardware’s hands-on report, dated January 6, 2026, also describes a rear touch bar, a small adjustment wheel, RGB lighting, and web-based configuration. These controls provide ways to adjust settings or media without relying exclusively on software menus, though the precise configuration options may change with firmware and software updates. Wired-only use is the main setup trade-off
This is a wired keyboard, not a wireless model. That may suit a fixed gaming desk, but it is a meaningful drawback if you want to move the keyboard between devices, avoid cable clutter, or use it away from your desk. The included carry case, which ASUS says secures the keyboard and essential accessories for travel, helps with transport but does not change the wired-only design.
